Welcome to the Nature Page !

Here we shall strive to promote a serious commitment for the love, conservation and management of an indispensable resource for mankind - his home and his environment.

“Management” is an odd term to use, but we mention it intentionally, for it is in this arena that the struggle for nature must be fiercest, for even those who find it difficult to sustain their love for nature when it is at its worst, can still ally themselves to its cause when they see obvious mismanagement, wanton destruction, uncaring exploitation and pollution of what is basically their home, environment, surroundings and future. It has become obvious that rational and wise management of this resource is crucial NOW! The issue is between good and bad management.

Some people want to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs because they want to get rich quick, enjoy ease and comfort now and are not satisfied with one or two golden egg/s a day, uncaring for others for the future generations to come.  How can anyone care more for nature than for humans? Why bother about a few plant or animal species when people are unemployed and hungry?

Others believe that exploitation cannot be rushed as if there were no tomorrow. Science and human creativity will reveal the richness and wealth of nature in due course. Good management and conservation will ensure it still exists to sustain us. How can Mother Nature sustain us if we do not ourselves protect and sustain her? Is nature to blame for human poverty and debasement?

You have to choose between the good and bad arguments. The stake is your future and of those you love as well as those who come after you. We invite you join us on this important and eventful journey.

Some of the ways in which we promote the cause of Mother Nature are:

  1. Education – both of the youngsters AND of more stubborn adults.
  2. Love and appreciation for nature through travel and stay in natural surroundings.
  3. Healthy activities and hobbies such as hiking, bird watching, caving, amateur research and data collection, nature photography and art etc.
  4. Scientific research and publications.
  5. Lobbying and campaigns
