Summertime in Finland - It is said that summer in Finland exists only on the calendar. It is not uncommon for it to snow somewhere during the summer. The main difference between summer and winter is the fact that the sun is almost always out. At least it never truly gets dark in Finland during the summer.

is the best time to be in Finland. My friends think that I am crazy when I say this, after
all, everyone knows that summer is the best time of the year. However compared to other
places, the summer in Finland is cold and wet. Winter however is very cold and snowy. That
is how winter should be.

Finnish Movies - I have watched a number of Finnish movies. They were in the Finnish language so I had to really pay attention to make sure that I understood what was going on. Even though I could not understand everything, I understood enough. At least I got as much out of it as if there were subtitles. The following poster is of my favorite Finnish movie.
"Restless" is a movie about the lives of young people in Finland. It is a very good movie. Unfortunately for Finnish women, it does not put them in a very good light. Basically the women in the film all go behind their friends back to sleep with their friend's boyfriend. Is the movie realistic? Well I personally believe that, in general, Finnish Women are emotionally unstable. When women ask me what I thought about the movie, they normally respond to my comments that I did not understand the "finer points" of the movie. I tend to disagree. It is funny that my guy friends who have seen the movie, tend to agree with my comments.
