Berry Picking in Finland
Berry picking is something very Finnish. There are all sorts of berries growing all over the country. Among the most popular are strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, and blueberries. I want with my girlfriend Tanja to the "blueberry forest" to go pick some blueberries. I picked a couple but Tanja was a berry picking machine.
Here is Tanja picking some berries. I was taking a break at that moment.
You can't see the berries in the picture, but they were very easy to find. This time I was busy trying to study the "correct way" to pick blueberries.
This is what a blueberry forest looks like. There were blueberries everywhere. Raspberries don't grow in the forest, they like sunshine. You can however find them bordering the fairways at the golf courses. "I just hit my ball into the woods so that I could get a snack.."
