Spring in Helsinki

As you can see, the ice is quickly melting in the harbor. Spring is the most dangerous time of year for those who walk across the harbor. Mary areas still look solid, but looks and fact are two different things entirely. Even this close to the shore, after going into shock shortly after hitting the water, your chances of getting to the shoreline are not too great:)

The Silja Line Ferry preparing for another trip to Sweden. I applied to work for this company. With the financial difficulties they are in, they really could have used my assistance. But, unfortunately, it seems they are very happy to head straight for a financial bottomless-pit.
