| Dropping into Marion Lake. There was a old trail, but it had some pretty steep sections in it, as seen in the photo. We did fish Marion Lake. Which had some nice 10" troute in it. | Day 5: Zero day. I had gotten sunburned on the top of my hands of all places, found the old JMT and went over Cartrige pass. Then came back and joined Pacman for some fishing in the afternoon. Day 6: We started out of the Lake Basin. |

| Dumbell Pass was not to hard, probably the easiest cross country pass we did. | ||||||||||||
| Upper Dumbell Lake. We thought we had to cross this snow field. Luckly we just went under it, right above the water line. There was about a 3'-4' clearance below the snow, so we crawled for about 20 feet below this snow field. | ||||||||||||
