| Pacman and Mountain Goat Began the Trip on Saturday August 28th and Finished on Labor day. We have just climbed out of Cedar Grove and are about 3000' above it now on Sunday. Cedar Grove is about 5000' and we are now close to 8000'. | ||||||||||||||
| Day 2: We got to Grouse lake near Granite pass. The fish grow large here (about 15"), and yes after we had 3, we were throwing them back. They were a lot of fun to catch, but for the record, they didn't taste to good.In the Photo, I cought the 12", before we knew there were 15" fish availible. Pacman caught the first 15"! | ||||||||||||||
| Granite Lake is the farther lake with the Island in it, and just off to the right of the photo is granite pass (around 10,000'). We had gone on from Grouse lake, to get to Glacier lake via cross country route. | ||||||||||||||
