Mountain Goats PCT 2005 Trek
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a 2,658 mile trail that goes from the Mexican boarder through California, Oregon, and Washington to Canada. In July of 2003, Snickers and myself went on a 10 day backpack. We were hiking a section of the PCT in Kings Canyon from Kersarg Pass to Reds Meadow (Snickers went on to Sonora Pass). I had the time of my life. And after the trip felt the desire to do the entire length of the PCT.

Since December 2003, I have been preparing for the 5 month trip for 2005.
In 2004 I went on a couple of pre-trips and worked out some of the quirks. Now to get ready for the thru-hike. Click on
Journal, if you would like to follow the trip. If you have trouble with this link, go to (http://www.trailjournals.com/) and find the 2005 journals and then look under Pacific Crest trail...
