I grew up in a Christian family, and actualy gave my life to God when I was 15 years old. But the life I lived was more of a religious life. What I did not know was that God wanted to have a personal relationship with me. I went to College at Chico State University in California. While there I got involved with a group of Christians called Chi-Alpha. At that time God was getting ahold of my life. I got babtised in the Holy Spirit and after that was on fire for God. I learned how to listen to Gods voice, and learned how very loving He is to each and every one of us. Our lives are so precious to Him that he sent his Son to Die on a cross, so that we can have a relationship with Him.
Since that time, I have been overseas on 4 missions trips. Each of those trips were about a month long. God has allowed me to go though some of the hardest times of my life, but after serving him these years. He has provided me with the things I have needed. I just depended on Him and obeyed whatever he wanted me to do. In 2000, I was able to get a brand new computer, which I badly needed for the computer consulting I was doing. In 2001 he provided me enough money to replace my ageing 1985 Accord with a 1994 Civic, which has served me very well. And continues to Bless me with the ever increasing price of gasoline! In 2002 I was able to buy a house. But I would give up all these things if He wanted me to. He has saved me from Hell. A place that I would not want anyone to go to. If you doubt that there is a Hell, let me assure you there is one, and after hearing about how terrible it is, I would not want anyone to go there! This is a place God made for Demons, who rebelled agaist him.
If you havn't given your life to God, Please do. Hells is no place for anyone of us to go. It is a 1000 times worse than you could ever imagine! Take the free gift of Salvation. Let me tell you how to get it.
1. God will judge each one of us when we die! The standard He uses is the 10 commandments. Just to a name a few: Do not lie, Do not Steal, Do not commit Adultry. These are just three of the laws. If we have done any of these, at any time of your life, you are guilty and must go to Hell.. You may say that is harsh, Yes it is but there is a way out!
2.Jesus is the Son of God. He came down to Earth, lived a perfect, sinless life and died a terible death on a Cross. (You may wish to see the passion of the Christ or Read the Gosples (Mathew, Mark, Luke and John) which are in the Bible.
3. If you acknowledge you are guilty, and ask Jesus into your life, as Lord and Saviour, you will be saved! Saved from what? Saved from going to the worst place you could ever think of.
4. What do I do now? If you have asked Jesus into your life. You have made the first step into the Kingdom of God. Please find a Church to go to. You may want to go to several, and find one that is Sold out to God and that you can relate to. There is probably one not far from you. Get involved in it. Get a Bible and start reading it every night. I did not know this until someone told me, when I read the Bible on an ongoing basis I find that I don't suffer from depression! When I don't guess what! Why is this? The bible is the Word of God. It feeds our spirit. These aren't just words. They are life! Get Babtisted in the Holy Spirit, Ask others in the Church about this. I have also found that reading some books from other men of God has helped me. One of which I will recommend here- The Finaly Quest! It helped to see the war we are in! It is written by Rick joyner. There are many other books that may help you. Check with Other Christians. Another good book I should mention is A purpose filled life, by Rick Warren. This a great manual on what a Christian life should be.
