This page contains pictures from our many trips to Clear Lake and/or Nice, California. Some times we stay at the Featherbed Railroad & some times we stay at the Rancheria Casino hotel. This is one of the places we like to go if we get the chance to get away for the night. Since it is only about a hundred miles from the house, we can take off around noon and get home the next day early enough to get ready for work the next day. We manage to go at least once a year.

The picture above are from our first trip to the clearlake area. We stayed in the Rasy Rider Caboose. This was our first caboose & thier newist . (1)The picture in the top left corner is a view from across the road standing on the boat dock. (2)The picture in the top right corner is of the front door of the caboose taken from the tree coverd area in the middle of all the cabooses. (3)The picture in the lower left corner is of the bed. Notice the handle bars. (4)The picture in the lower right corner is of our 2001 Sportster parked next to the caboose.

On that same trip we also rode down toward Calistoga and visit a Geyser and a petrified forrest.

We went back again in 2004, this time we stayed in the " La Loose Caboose". As you can see from the fictures it's your basic bordello. (1) the picture in the upper left cornet is a view from the caboose looking toward the lake. (2) The picture in the upper right cornet is a view of the inside of the caboose standing in the entry way. (3) The picture in the lower left corner is some of the decore. it is a part of the caboose above the entry way. (4) The picture in the lower right corner is of a sunset over the lake take from the area in front of the whole place.

On our trip in 2005 we stayed at the casino. We also took a ride around the lake. Both of these pictures were taken from a "rest area", with a view of the lake in the distance. The beautiful lady in the picture on the right is my wife.

We did not go to the Clearlake area in 2007, because of our trip to Germany.

In 2008 we just rode over and spent a night at the casino, did a little gambling, had supper, and rode home. (1) The picture on the left is of the bike setting in the driveway jst before we left. (2) The picture on the right is of the bike in front of the casino hotel.
