

| Article 1 | The Mutations House of Capoeira, henceforth known as simply C.C.M. (Casa de Capoeira Mutações), is an independent, non-profit association, cultural, philanthropic and social in nature, supported by classes, associates, and donations. It is of indefinite duration, being governed by the present statute and such laws as are applicable to it. |

| Article 2 | The C.C.M.’s objective is: a) To gather together and to represent its associates. b) To organize its associates to develop the practice of Holistic Capoeira, serve as a resource for the research of groups or individuals engaged in the same area of investigation, as well as providing the service of registering events and organizing shows, expositions, festivals, and crafts fairs; also for publications, and the making of instruments and other articles related to capoeira. c) To join together persons and groups interested in its practices, in order to stimulate them to develop Holistic Capoeira as an instrument of transformation and development of human beings in their most varied aspects. d) To support and sponsor activities that aim to divulge crucial information about sports, health, environmental protection, sexuality, family planning, drug use, natural life and medicine; to promote and encourage all forms of organization of its associates, respecting the basic principles of this statute. e) To defend the right of any citizen to freedom at work, recreation, in education, leisure and culture, as well as to all the other basic rights, without discrimination based on race, color, sex, nationality, or religious or political convictions. f) To pledge allegiance to the flag of World Peace, defending the principles of self-sufficiency and self-determination of all peoples, and to oppose any form of exploitation of humans by other humans. h) To establish a practice of divulging its works via all available means of communication. |
Article 3 |
For the realization of its objectives, the C.C.M. must:
I - Give courses in its areas of specialization to groups or organizations formed of members of the community, trade unions, students and professionals in tune with its objectives; II - Link up with national and international entities, be they governmental or non-, that may in some way support it in the realization of its goals and guarantee the durability of its services; III - Participate in classes, seminars, meetings, with the primary intention of guaranteeing continuing professional education to its members within the area of its specialization. . |
| Article 4 | The C.C.M. is to have an indefinite duration and existence. |

| Article 36 | Proposals offered by the partners of the C.C.M. will be considered by the Directorate as taking effect only when put in written form and duly documented and signed. |
| Article 37 | No partner will be able to call themself a representative of the C.C.M. without written permission from the Directorate. |

| Artigo 39 | In case of dissolution of the C.C.M., according to Article 12 of the statute, its holdings will be transferred to a non-profit organization that is active along the same social and cultural lines, registered with the CNSS (National Council of Social Services), chosen in a general meeting with a quorum of 2/3 of the associates. |
