Maow companions: Her first maow companion was the erinacci Nips, whom she raised from a pup but is in no physical shape for the long travels ahead, let alone to protect her. Thus Calley was paired with another maow, a drakling named Peiro, who is the son of Sadira, one of the two local dragons. He, too, took the Jr. Ranger training, and has the magical and physical abilities to protect Calley.
Family: She is the daughter of a former Laurel Guide, Mia, and the well-known enchanter, Donovan Taylor.
