Maow companions: Her childhood companion and protector is a winged wolf named Skye, who had protected Bellendy's mother before her. She has two other maow companions, a young woodcat named Zeth whom she raised from a kitten, and a young wind-elemental faerie-dragon, who has yet to come into his real magics.
Family: She is the daughter of Hartsylla's old Guide, Samantha, and another local ranger, both of whom died when she was very young.. The only family she has now is her grandparents on her father's side, and a single aunt, uncle, and cousin, all of with whom she grew up after her parents were killed. She also has an older sister, Hershamo, but she was sent from the town after her uncontrollable magics accidentally destroyed a good section of Hartsylla's orchards, and she dissapeared, running away. Bellendy has often dreamed of her sister returning to her, as her sister was the only real friend, other than her maow, that she ever had.
