On June 17 we had our welcome party
for Olivia Denton. Olivia had come to our school last April and has
been a very valued member of the team.
The party was a big hit with everyone
enjoying my special red beans and rice and Alex's antics. (He was
very busy scavenging food from people's plates) Sarah and her
friends were entertained by my new trick, making animal balloons, shown
above. Melinda and I played a very competitive game of hydroblast
with a lot of cheating and wet clothes. lol
Door prizes were also on the agenda,
with people receiving a wide range of goodies from whoopie cushions to
bathroom wall seals. These prizes were a good way for us to clean
out our attic. LOL
We're looking forward to working with
Olivia this year. She has brought a bright smile and professional
attitude to our school. I hope we can keep her for a long time.
