Takako Ishii Richards was born and raised in Ibaraki City on the outskirts of Osaka.  As a teenager she attended Kobe Jyogakuin for both junior and high school and university.  During her college years she was the lead singer in her own fusion band, Not By Chance.  After graduation she worked as the assistant manager of a clothing boutique and used this position to build an incredible wardrobe.  LOL  In the summer of '92 she met her soul mate, Jon Richards, (obviously this is being written by her husband. lol) and they were married on Dec. 31, 1995 in the grand state of Mississippi. 

In the summer of '99 she began her driving career, taking the drivers license that she had not used for 15 years and finally putting it to use.  She is proud to report that she has not had any traffic accidents yet.  However, don't ask about her demolished bicycle.  LOL.

She is now very busy as the vice president of the Mississippi School of English and raising two children.  (Our "house monkeys")

She has studied both French and English extensively and can speak both fluently.  She has also practiced the traditional Japanese arts of flower arrangement and the tea ceremony.  Her musical taste ranges from Jazz to progressive rock, with Pink Floyd and Stevie Wonder being two of her favorite artists.
