Blackbird part I (Thief-Skilled only)
This scenario will not happen unless you are a thief, though it sometimes
happens if you have some thief skills. Pure fighters, paladins, and magic
users can just give the Statue of Peace to Ferrari to get the Deed. Elsa will
show up in your room one night and give you the early opportunity to raid
Minos' fortress. See below to get into Minos' treasure room. The statue on
the wall will shrink you- don't bother. The actual Blackbird is in the alcove
that looks empty- the right side, far back. There are six alcoves, and two
chests to rob. Warp back, and give the original to Wolfie. He will make an
imitation blackbird for you. Note: When you go back to pick up the bird, talk
to him first to get back the original, THEN purchase the imitation. Otherwise,
you'll never get back the original. You can then show the original to the
Arrestes in the Thieves Guild, and/or give the bird to Ferrari. When you give
it to Ferrari, he will give you the deed to Gnome Ann's Land Inn.
Minos' Island
You will find yourself on Minos' shore, with a guard near the bottom. Thieves-
sneak and blackjack, Magic-skilled and Paladins can use Calm or Peace. Or
a combination of those methods. Fighters fight. There are two ways in: ram
the gate and go in through the front door, or sneak on from the roof. The
gate method is pretty explanatory, the roof method is easier for those who
aren't looking for a fight. If you want to sneak in, hug the walls until you
reach the gate. Then move to the front of the screen, in the darkness. Move
left, then up to the ledge below the tree on the hill (left side of the fortress).
The magic skilled can levitate up, thieves I assume use the grappling hook.
Sneak right, onto the roof. There is a door on the roof from which you may
enter. Once inside, your goal is the door on the far left side of the second
story. You might want to lock the door on the middle of the first story (actually
the front door) so goons can't get in. Once you get in to that room, subdue
the guards.
