Rite of Courage
This rite is really tricky. Please follow directions carefully. Buy around
5 amphoras before going on this rite. Julanar will give you magical seeds
before you leave.Northwest of Tinos is the entrance to Hades. Fill an amphora
near the dead guard's body by the river, and pour it into the river where
it meets the rock (left side of the screen.) If you have read the poem from
the Oracle, the entrance will appear and you will need to bribe Cerebus. Bribe
him with a gyro, chocolate, and a pepperoni pizza. Once inside, run right,
and down (there is a path right and down, don't bother running straight right)
You will eventually hit a cliff that seems like a dead end, and you will see
an entrance below and back. Click at the path below you, and choose your favorite
way to get down there. Go inside the entrance, on the right of the screen.
I call this the Dragon Bone room. To get to the next room, run all the way
left. You will be crossing a dragon's neck bone. In this next room, you will
then have to run right, stop at the whirlpool long enough to get some Lethe
water (if your character has been asked to get some). Move further right of the
whirlpool to get Styx water (you can barely
see this path). If a paladin, dip Justinian's ring into the Styx to make the
ring of truth. Go back left of the whirlpool and keep going up and right past
the whirlpool. You will have to choose between Erana, Katrina, or neither
to save. You can now leave Hades, this time, when you exit the dragon bone
room using the top right door that you entered in before, you'll find yourself
at the (normal or lower) entrance to the dragon bone room. I know this is
confusing, but run to your right and the first door you'll find is the exit
to Hades. If when you exit the dragon bone room and find yourself at the cliff
that you had to jump/levitate down, then you missed something in the whirlpool
room.
