Blackbird part II (Thieves with grappling hooks only)
Okay, this absolutely will not work unless you have a grappling hook, which
thieves will have received in the beginning of the game. Go to the house on
the right of Ferrari's. Loot it, of course. Feel like breaking into Ferrari's?
Go upstairs onto the roof. Use the grappling hook to go up to the tall building
up and slightly to the left, then climb down to the smaller one left of that.
Have the hero jump to the left onto Ferrari's roof. You can break into the
middle window. Once inside, you will be on a ledge. Click on the houseplant
a little to the right of the hero, and he will inch over to the second floor.
Don't open any doors or wake up the guard sleeping by the door. Loot the safe
behind the painting on the first floor if you please, and grab the alabaster
amphora on the table. Then, click on the table that the amphora was on to
move it underneath the blackbird. Stand on the table, switch the real blackbird
with the fake one, and escape.
Rite of Justice
Buy some fireproofing oil and more poison cure from Salim if you don't have
any. You will need these later. Sleep at the inn at night. Elsa will show
up and tell you that she suspects another murder will take place, and who
she suspects has caused all of these problems. After that, wander around the
entrance to the Adventurer's Guild after midnight. The asssasin will show
up (Remember this guy from QFG1?) and you must kill him. You will then have
to make the trouble-maker confess to the crimes. You can choose any way you
prefer. You will then have to break into Minos' fortress. See Minos' Fortress
section on page 9 if you have trouble. Once in, grab the Interesting Kit on
the right of the table and give it to Elsa. She will help you fight. Minos
will fall, breaking the tablet, you must then search all of the bodies (including
Minos), and untrap or somehow open the alcove on the back left of the screen.
Erana will show up and warp you to the Dragon.
