First steps to 150,000

We bring you news of great victory and harvest in Mindanao!

Ninety five pastors and workers from 28 churches were trained through the Sidewalk Sunday School Training Clinic held last November 11-12 at our church.

Four hundred kids (and more than 50 on-lookers) heard the message of the Cross through the Sidewalk Sunday School outreach that we conducted in the "toughest" inner-city neighborhood of Cagayan de Oro.

We will surely hit our goal for 2006 "to reach 600 children with the Gospel by planting 3 Sidewalk Sunday Schools and visitation outreaches in 3 barangays."  Most likely, we will surpass it!

We believe that through the Sidewalk Sunday School and Visitation Program, we will reach the 150,000 children of our city in the long-term.  And through cell group ministry, new believer's Encounter Retreats, School of Leaders and weekly leadership mentoring, we will win whole families for Christ, train and mobilize leaders/workers for the harvest, and bring about the "blanket" evangelization of our city for the glory of God!

To implement the Sidewalk Sunday School and Visitation Program, we have in our hearts the following "next steps" to do:

1. Sidewalk Christmas Party                                           December 21, 2005
2. Weekly Night Training for workers                                January 7 - February 18, 2006
3. Sidewalk Sunday School Launch                                 February 25, 2006

To continue reaching the neglected children and families of Mindanao, we need your help.  Please take time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit how He would want you to be involved in this highly-successful evangelism and discipleship ministry.

• For only $150 a month, you can sponsor 300 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.

• For only $100 a month, you can sponsor 200 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.

• For only $ 50 a month,  you can sponsor 100 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.

• For only $ 25 a month,  you can sponsor  50 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.

You may also sow a one-time donation of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $200 or however the Lord leads you.  Gifts in kind such as food, clothing, toys and other goodies are most welcome as well.
