SIDEWALK  PROJECT

Goals

• To train and equip 100 churches in the Principles and Methods of Sidewalk Sunday School and Visitation Program

• To reach 150,000 children (and their families) with the Gospel by establishing 600 Sidewalk Sunday School and Visitation Outreaches in 80 barangays (villages)

Accomplishments

• Ninety five (95) pastors and workers from 28 churches were trained through the very first Sidewalk Sunday School Training Clinic held last November 11-12 at our church.

• Five hundred (500) kids (and more than 100 on-looking youth and adults) are reached through our Sidewalk Sunday School and Visitation Outreach at the "toughest" inner-city neighborhood of Cagayan de Oro City (northern Mindanao).  

Next Steps 2006

• Conduct regular Night Trainings for Sidewalk Sunday School teachers and workers.

• Reach 1,000 children with the Gospel by establishing 3 Sidewalk Sunday Schools and Visitation Outreaches in 3 barangays.

Mindanao and the Philippines is full of children who not only need food and clothing, but need to know that they are born to be champions and overcomers.  Every child should know that he is special, created to make a difference and to achieve great things for God and country.  We entreat you today to help us reach children and their families with this positive message.

• For only $150 a month, you can sponsor 300 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.
• For only $100 a month, you can sponsor 200 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.
• For only $ 50 a month, you can sponsor 100 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.
• For only $ 25 a month, you can sponsor 50 children to Sidewalk Sunday School weekly.

You may also sow a one-time donation of $2,000, $1,000, $500, $200 or however the Lord leads you. Gifts in kind such as food, clothing, toys and other goodies are most welcome as well.
