Sidewalk Sunday School

The Sidewalk Sunday School is a holistic program especially designed to strategically win and disciple children for the glory of God. It powerful attracts the young generation to Christ and His Word by utilizing innovative and creative means of evangelism and discipleship. It incorporates games, music, drama, artistic crafts and power-packed Bible lessons.

Personal Visitation

Through visitation, children receive a more personal touch from Open Eyes Mission workers.  As parents and relatives see a living example and demonstration of Christ’s love through the visitation ministry, their hearts are touched and their homes are opened to the Gospel.

Cell Groups

As children and their families get saved, evangelistic cell groups are established.  Through this ministry, children, youth, women and men are evangelized, pastored and nurtured in the faith.  As they personally experience the presence and power of God, more and more children and families are attracted to Christ and His Word, resulting in the expansive growth of His Church.

Men, Women, Couples, Youth and Children's  Networks

As cell groups grow in different communities and barangays, homogenous network meetings are conducted to win more men, women, couples, youth and children for Christ.  This also serves as their first exposure to the church.  Unlike the Sidewalk Sunday Schools and Cell Groups which are conducted outside the church building, the men, women, couples, youth and children’s network meetings are conducted inside the church.  Thus, they serve as a transition event towards active church membership.

Pre-Encounter

As new believers become hungry for more of God and His word, they are taken through a basic discipleship series called the Pre-Encounter, which prepares them for the life-revolutionizing 3-day Encounter Retreat.

Encounter

The Encounter is a 3-day retreat where new believers experience inner healing, deliverance and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.  Through the Encounter, they are set free from all bondages and empowered to win souls and make disciples for Christ.

Post-Encounter

After the Encounter, believers go through the Post-Encounter classes where they learn how to maintain and apply the freedom and victory that they received through the Encounter in their day-to-day lives.

D I S C I P L E

School of Leaders

Upon completion of the Post-Encounter, consolidated believers enroll at the School of Leaders where they are established in the foundations of the Christian faith and trained to win souls and make disciples through the multiplication of cell groups.  The goal of each student in the school is not a get a diploma but to start a new cell group.  This is so because only those who successfully launch a new cell group receive their diplomas.  No cell, no diploma.

Re-Encounter

Through the Re-Encounter, the trainees of the School of Leaders are confronted anew with a strong call to holiness, devotional life, intimacy with and dependence to the Holy Spirit, prayer, spiritual warfare, evangelism, disciple-making and the multiplication of cell groups.  This "prunes" the leaders-in-the-making and gets them ready to bear fruit and multiply.

G12 Cells

Believers who successfully launch a new cell group become members of Groups of 12 or a G12 cell.  Through G12 cells, leaders in the vision receive constant ministry and mentoring from a G12 leader.  No one is left to fend for himself or herself.  Every leader in the vision receive ministry from a spiritual father or mother.  In turn, they give what they receive to their own disciples.

Pastors and Leaders' Conferences

Through our Pastors and Leaders' Conferences, the vision to win and disciple children, families, cities and nations through the Sidewalk Program, the G12 Vision and the Transformation Initiative is imparted and multiplied in the lives of hundreds and thousands of pastors, leaders and churches all over Mindanao and the Philippines.

VISIONCAST E-Articles for Pastors and Ministers

Through anointed e-articles from Pastors Glen & Aymi Melo, 135 pastors and ministers all over Mindanao and the Philippines receive encouragement, teachings and strategic instructions in the vision of church growth and national transformation.

Church Planting

Our ultimate objective is to make sure that every Mindanaon, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, must have access to a witnessing church.  Where there are none, we plant missionary cell churches in gateway cities and underground house churches in Muslim territories.
