You may be playing with power, portable power, but you're going to need some stuff to port along with
all of that power. We're not quite at the point where we can have crystalline storage media and next
generation power storage technology, so you'd better stay in shape to lug everything around. Battery
packs, link cables, screen magnifiers, lights, speakers, and more. It's a veritable car show. Here
are the accessories I've picked up in my travels to play the perfect game of Tetris.

GAME BOY RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK
|
|
|
Game Boy Rechargeable Battery Pack
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Model: DMG-03
Type: Battery pack
"ALTERNATE POWER_"
Now you're playing with power. Backup power. After the T-1000 has destroyed your primary power source,
you're going to need some extra juice. Or if your pack of dollar-store double A cells are fading fast.
You may not always be around an electrical outlet when you need to sink some time into eradicating the
metroids, waking the Wind Fish, or just trying to break your habit of scoring nothing but tetrises. As
always, be careful with battery packs. Don't store them in hot places, or anywhere that may experience
wide temperature changes. Don't let some idiot bang it around like a flail, either.

GAME BOY GAME LINK CABLE
|
|
|
Game Boy Game Link Cable
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Model: DMG-04
Type: System link cable
Absolutely essential for co-op or head-to-head play with another Game Boy, since the system isn't made for
connecting extra controllers. Who would want to crowd around a Game Boy's screen, anyway? See who the real
Tetris master is, or who holds the title of F1 champion. Warning: do not challenge people who are sore losers,
thieves, or idiots.

GAME BOY FOUR-PLAYER ADAPTER
|
|
|
Game Boy Four-Player Adapter
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Model: DMG-07
Type: Multiplayer adapter
For when the party is really on. Play against three other players, or if you've got some networking smarts, as
many as perhaps fifteen other people, simultaneously! This adapter really opens up multiplayer, but lamentably,
very few games make use of it. Perhaps in the future, people will be more willing and able to play multiplayer
games.

GAME GENIE
|
|
|
Game Genie
Manufacturer: Galoob
Model: 7359
Type: Game enhancer
Like its NES counterpart, the Game Genie brings much-needed replay value to your games after you've completed them
the normal way. You did beat your games fair and square, right? If not, go back and do it right, then return.
This iteration of the Game Genie allows you to more easily seek out codes, and includes a compartment to keep its
much-needed programming manual handy.

GAME BOY CARRYING CASE
|
|
|
Game Boy Carrying Case
Manufacturer: Unknown
Model: Unknown
Type: Carrying case
Seemingly licensed, as it bears the Nintendo logo and Game Boy trademark, this carrying case bears no markings that
would indicate its manufacturer. It holds seven Game Boy game paks (in their cases), though I have a second that
while nearly identical, has different forms on the interior, and only holds five paks.
