$4000 Award in Musical theater. Winner of Greater Washington, DC competition will go to the National competition to compete for $10,000 top prize and other prizes. USA Citizens only. Age restricted to applicants between the ages of 18 to 28 years old. Washington Chapter region includes residents and students attending schools, colleges or Universities in  Maryland, Delaware, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia

The National Society of Arts and Letters (NSAL) is a non-profit organization committed to encouraging and assisting talented young Americans in the arts through scholarships and cash grant awards given through annual competitions sponsored by local chapters.
