Winner of the drawing competition for the Washington Chapter 1973 is now exhibiting, painting and teaching in the Bowie area of Maryland.

This is a postcard of a painting she exhibited in 1998 competition winning first prize. The competition was juried by the late J. Carter Brown, former director of the National Gallery of Art. The work is called 1928 Packard, oil on Canvas. The original is 32" x 48" copyrighted by the artist, all rights reserved.

Alice used her scholarship from NSAL to attend Maryland Institute, College of Art where she earned a degree Magna cum Laude B.F.A. in 1977. She has won many painting and drawing prizes from high school on. She continues to exhibit in the Maryland area mostly.
