NSAL, Washington Chapter Award Fund This fund is for general awards, occasional second awardsor recognition for potential after competition.
Mollie Davis Nicholson Memorial Award Fund, NSAL, Washington Chapter This fund receives gifts in memory of anyone who passed on and whowas an arts appreciator or artist for who someone wishes to make a contribution.

Frank Wright is a prominent Washington, D.C. artist and Professor ofFine Arts at George Washington University. A former NSAL scholarship recipient, his works are in many public and private collections, including WintonBlount Collection in Montgomery, Alabama; Perpetual Bank; Kiplinger WashingtonEditors; Charles E. Smith Companies; and Oliver T. Carr Company, all ofWashington, D.C. Mr. Wright has exhibited in museums and galleries throughoutthe country, including the Kennedy Galleries in New York; the SoutheasternCenter for Contemporary Art, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; the CorcoranGallery of Art (which gave him a retrospective exhibition in 1981, andthe IMF Visitors' Center which hosted a retrospective exhibition in 1986.This summer, the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. is exhibiting a retrospectiveof the works of Frank Wright.

Scholarship and cash grant award funds are derived from benefits, such as the funds raised from selling this print, and from contributions ofdonors. We would like to thank the law firm of Wilkes, Artis, Hedrick &Lane for their generous gift of the prints.
