GA019: Anti-Terrorism Action Committee Proposed by: Union of Soviet SR, January 11, 2004 A special committee will be formed of two SC members who will decide what to do in case of a terrorist threat. Ideally they will consist of one First and one Second councilor from different regions. Their decision will then be put up for vote. Required to Pass: 50%+1 vote Deadline for voting: January 28, 2004 Approve: Union of Soviet SR, Phazania, Israel-Palestine, Isla de Cuba Reject: United Faiths, Akhtendum, Bubonic Plague, Malawi, Central African Republic 4-5. The Resolution Fails
GA Resolution 020
GA020: Creation of an African currency trading system Proposed by: Union of Soviet SR, January 11, 2004 All of the currencies of every African state will be matched with their economies and rated. Thus we can create an international market. Trade will be based on what a country produces well. This will be based on ratings updated frequently. We will create a forum called the Stock Market on which all transactions will be recorded. Note: this refers to surpluses. Therefore, if a state accuses another of having no arms manufacturing market, the accused can direct the accuser to the forum where he traded for weapons. Required to Pass: 50%+1 vote Deadline for voting: January 28, 2004 Approve: Union of Soviet, SR, Phazania, United Faiths, Akhtendum, Shcherbatskaya, France, Reino de Espa�a, New East Prussia, Israel-Palestine, Reject: Bubonic Plague 9-1. GA Resolution 021
GA021: Emergency Response Action Committee Proposed by: Union of Soviet SR, January 11, 2004 A special committee will be formed of two SC members who will decide what to do in case of a natural disaster, famine or epidemic in any nation. The committee's decision will be put up for vote. After that, any nation willing to help will send its emergency aid personnel to an AU rally point in an area in the affected country. There they will be issued AU uniforms with shoulder patches indicating their nation of origin. This team will receive AU support and work under AU supervision. Note: this is for peaceful work ONLY. No military personnel may be sent (with the exception of medics). Required to Pass: 50%+1 vote Deadline for voting: January 28, 2004 Approve: Union of Soviet SR, Phazania, Akhtendum, Shcherbatskaya, France, Reino de Espa�a, New East Prussia, Israel-Palestine, Reject: United Faiths, Bubonic Plague 8-2.
