GA Resolution 016
GA 016: The Responsibilities and Elections of UN Delegate and AU Secretary General Proposed by: Bubonic Plague October 30, 2003 1. The positions of delegate and secretary general shall be separate posts, but a nation may occupy both. 2. The UN Delegate shall be chosen by the endorsements of UN members. 3. The AU secretary general shall be elected on a monthly basis by a majority vote of the AU member sates. 4. The duties and powers of the UN delegate shall be restricted to voting on UN resolutions, approving UN resolutions, representing Africa�s interests at the UN and bringing to the attention of African states those UN resolutions that impact on the continent. 5. The duties of the Secretary General of the AU shall be as defined by the AU Charter. GA Resolution 017
GA 017: Creation of the AU Division of Transportation and Commerce Proposed by: Israel-Palestine October 30, 2003 The AU�s Division of Transportation and Commerce (AUTC) will be overseen by a nation that the Security Council would elect. The purpose of this division is to promote trade and transportation. One ultimate goal is the achievement of the Maglev Train system spanning the whole of Africa. The AU shall set up this division and any two nations that wish to join will have a Monorail system setup between their nations with the help from the AU, and other AUTC members. Eventually, Africa will become united, where the poorest person is able to travel from Alexandria in the North to Cape Town in the South. GA Resolution 018
GA018: New States Restricted to One Homeland on the Map Proposed by: Venetian Duchy November 10, 2003 A state already possessing land in Africa may not create or bring in a new puppet country into the region and request land on the map. A state may only dominate more than one country on the map under the following circumstances: 1. The leadership already holds more than one state as of the date of the last published map. 2. An existing mapped state is given away or shared. 3. If the Security Council votes on a specific circumstance where a state should hold a new puppet regime. Overtime, this resolution will ensure that no abuses by individual leaders cause the region to become distorted.
