Name: | Mikali |
From: | Kaiana, a remote planet in the outer systems |
Candidate At: | The Abstract Destiny |
Species: | Badger anthromorph |
Parents: | Unknown |
Age: | 33 Earth-cycles |
Sex: | Male |
Height: | 5'0" tall |
General Description: | He is very similar in appearance to Grekath: Broad-shouldered and bent slightly forward to compensate for his tail and build. Most other aspects are that of a five-foot badger on its hind legs, with stature altered accordingly. Brown robes that cover most of his body are always present. |
Residence: | Star City Station, on a temporary basis; otherwise, planet Kaiana |
Profession: | Youngest member of the chief council of his clan. He has assumed the role of head magical teacher in Grekath's absence. |
Personality: | Mikali is about as devoted and loyal as they come, retaining strong bonds to his tribe and to those who lead it, despite any differences among them. He is a bit more light-hearted than Grekath, usually able to find a positive in any given situation, and more than willing to exploit such positives if it proves necessary. Though his skill level with manipulating planetary energy is slightly lower than Grekath, he has gained much renown as a teacher among his clan and is more than willing to branch into new territory, given any level of cooperation from those that prefer the status-quo. |
History: | Born in the same generation as Grekath, he followed closely in the older badger's footsteps, not minding at all that Grekath seemed more skilled and, indeed, more highly-favored at first. When Grekath was suddenly halted and cast aside, Mikali went low-profile with his inquisitive ways, witholding them until the current crisis facing their tribe would pass. When that crisis got worse rather than better, Mikali became stuck between following along for the sake of peace and trying something new that might help -- when it was trying something new that got their chief mage in trouble in the first place. |
Abilities: | Connection with the planet Kaiana and, eventually, Atu, grants Mikali various magic- or psionic-like abilities:
