Nicole's Crochet Bistro
Coming Soon!
Here you will find the latest items off of my hook... and as soon as I get the patterns written, they will all be available here at the Bistro!

What's Done?

  • Gumdrop Kitchen Set - This set was designed for Crochet Talk's Crochet-Along group, and will soon be available at the Bistro.
  • 18" Doll Accessories - I wasn't happy with the bedding that came with the doll bed I purchased for Little Lissa, so I designed my own! So far I have a cute bedskirt and a soft blanket completed, with more to follow!
  • Scrap Yarn Basket - Another great pattern for using up those partially-used balls of yarn. It is done with 5 strands of yarn and a Q hook. My oldest DD uses this one for her nail polish collection, but this versatile basket has a multitude of uses since it stands on its own!

In Progress!!! As always, I have tons of WIPs {works-in-progress}! Right now coming off of my hooks are a huge variety of items.

Kid Stuff - My large family inspires me to create all kinds of things for them. Current WIPs include:

  • 18" Doll Accessories - I'm creating an entire bedding set for dolls up to 18". The bedskirt and blanket are complete, with a pillow, mattress, and a canopy for the bed on the way.
  • Parent and Child Bib Aprons - Due to requests on the Crochet Bistro Knitting Chat group, I've started work on a set of aprons for baking crocheters and their little helpers! They both will be bib style to protect your clothing from creativity in the kitchen!
  • Baby Quiltghan - This baby afghan is a design based on the "Colour Wheel" quilt pattern. It's all done up in squares and will include instructions for a baby-sized pastel version as well as a larger kid-sized one done in bolder crayon colours.
  • Striped Toddler Set - This is another winter set for toddlers, and will include hat, mittens, and scarf all done in stripes. This one will be done in worsted weight acrylic yarn for easy care!
  • Kid's Kerchief - I had some of the Denimstyles yarn left over and am working on a quick kerchief for girls. My daughters love wearing them, and this one, worked in yarn, will be a nice addition to their wardrobes. It will be added to the free pattern section once it's completed.

Items for the Home - There are several home dec designs coming up that I will be adding to the patterns here at the Bistro:

  • Candy Cane Utensil Holder - Another pattern for the very popular candy cane series of kitchen items. This one is entirely conventional crochet, and is designed to cover a 2 pound coffee can. It *is* fairly large, but that way you will no longer have to go hunting in your drawers for any of your utensils... they will all fit in this one place at your fingertips!
  • Heart Filet Doily - This is another addition to the ever-expanding collection of filet patterns here at the Bistro. Done in size 10 thread it will end up being around 10-12". You could also do it in a finer thread for a smaller doily.
  • Holiday Rug - This scatter rug is perfect for many places in your home. It's done with three strands of holiday yarn and an N hook, and has a built-in fringe that keeps you from having any ends to weave in! Mine is going in front of my kitchen sink, but it would be a gorgeous addition to anyone's entrance that doesn't have to deal with the slush and muck like I do!
