What College Looks Like This... HOLY CRAP! An Update!!
That's right, folks... another year, another dollar... and I've decided to actually try and update this thing on a regular basis once more. This may prove difficult, as I generally have no USB photo-transfer device of my own... But nevertheless, here for your viewing pleasure is a visual record of ORIENTATION 2004!
Every year, Res Life tries to get the Houses to be "unified" and "work more as a team" - for some reason,
this involves funny drawing projects. Here, the House members are hard at work
on their self-portraits, highlights of which include Michael looking scruffy and playing a violin,
Dave sticking his tongue out, Emily making Magnetic Poetry, and Tommy's picture of his beard eating a baby.
What best to follow up a silly drawing game but with a silly outdoor game involving a pool noodle?
The object of this game was to hit someone's shins with the noodle, then run to the center while they chased you,
ultimately hoping to take their spot in the circle and leave them with the noodle.
This obviously built teamwork and unity.
We took it easy in the evenings by playing Risk - as commander of the red armies,
Pete took his job very seriously. (Note the haircut!)
The big move-in day arrived. Here, Howell members model their stylish shirts.
This is just a really attractive picture of Tommy.
Sometimes the going got slow; some solved this by playing cards, while Dave solved this by taking a nap.
