What College Looks Like This Week...
So yeah... schoolwork hit. I haven't taken pictures in a very very long time. I'm sure I'll have lots next weekend for Parent's Weekend,
and tons from the fall break NYC excursion... but in the meantime:
Our favorite Civil-War-hero-cum-President-of-Bowdoin-College celebrated
a little something in September... and the Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain Museum
next door had a banner about it.
Old JLC was a real fun-lover... we decided to get him something nice for his birthday.
(Did the sculptor not consider the innumerable prank possibilities inherent in this design? On a college campus??)
The House did a little ad for the September campuswide that involved big rugby players, and Michael getting beat up...
Zach and Jamaal are bouncers for Club Howell.
Silly Michael - Howell is for people with REAL IDs!
Little did the ad-readers know, Liam was actually giving the bouncers
cash and black-tar heroin in the form of a Bowdoin ID...
The Orient ran a fairly biased article slamming the new IHC policy
that allows Howell to reserve kegs as a party-scheduling device.
I got so angry about it, I kicked a hole in the wall. Yeah...
I did that in my normal shoes. The hole's about six inches across.
