"Eh! Watch where ya going bud...say, your not from around here are ya? Know where ya going then? Ha! I didn't think so. For a small fee Geoff here will give ya directions to anywheres ya want to go...huh, this is strange currency, but I trust ya. Ok, ya see down that there street?

"On the left ya see an Apothecary, that's where you'll find the leader of sorts around here, Alona St. Twintree. She's a Druid and runs both that shop and the Menagerie. At the Apothecary there's a list of all the services she can provide, spells and whatnot, as well as some alternate spell wordings for those newbie Druids out there for the game of Amtgard. Don't know what that is? Boy, ya ARE lost.

"Next on down the line is the Emporium, run by a little wad of orc snot named Nobby. Word is he's a goblin, but I ain't never seen a gobby that could count his fingers much less money. The emporium has forms and things to download. And no, I don't know what that means. I'm just the town drunk.

"The old Elf Weilass runs the Alchemist shoppe past the emporium, if magic items are what ya looking for, he'll have em. Grumbledy mumbledy sort he is..Don't expect to understand a thing he's saying, just know it's prolly making fun of ya.

"Now, this is where it gets tricky. Ya gotta go under that huge root there and go into the tree itself ta get to the Smithy in there. The trees have permanent fires as well as running water vines running up from the very bottom of the ground itself, and to keep his buisness going he's got to get red hot fire, so it's in kind deep. Depli the Fire Giant is the smith there...doesn't need no special euipment to handle hot stuff I guess. He'll fix you up with weapons if ya need em...famous Twintree brand...I don't know. I try not to go in there. Just don't expect such witty banter as ya get with me..and don't piss him off.

"Now ya gotta go up those stairs a bit outside the Smith, yea the ones covered in moss...in there you'll find the Scribe, Ahion. He's a Brownie, one of those little fellas. Any book you need bound, he'll set you up. Spellbooks are his specialty, but almost anything can done, and it'll get ported to ya wherever you go.

"Right next door to that, and across the street, and well, over the street as well is the Artisan shoppe. Bubastis, a Catperson runs it...don't bargain with her, she's a tough barterer...word is she came in with Alona when She planted the seeds for this place...I think she's on the run from stealing money somewhere. Anywho, there's artsy fartsy stuff there. Pictures of artwork.

"The Seamstress is up on the other side of the street there, Sketches of clothing and and small garments can be special ordered there. Run by a sweet little thing, Cronas, an Elf.

"The Menagerie is over there, run by Alona, and no, I don't know how she can be in two places at once, maybe the Apothecary and that shoppe are connected somehow, I don't know...theres lotsa secret passages here. AmtCard is there, and well, I can't really explain it..all I know is that there are lists and pictures of all the monsters and some sort of card game attached to it...just go there and find out.

"The Tavern is next to it over there. You can view all sorts of people there...photos and whatnot. Be careful, Laeto the bartender is a Zombie. Yes, you heard it right, Zombie bartender. Don't ask what he was before he was a zombie...and always check your drink for fingers...he's always loosing them. When you say two fingers, he takes it literally.

"Now, if ya don't mind, there's a barstool with my name on it I gotta get going to. Oh, and over there you can get to the trunks if yer so inclined."
