HIV, Social Security, and the Internet

Anyone who has tried to use modern electronic equipment has sometimes faced the frustration of wondering "how does this thing work?" Sometimes an electronic device is so hard to use that an adult just can't do it--it takes a child to figure it out!

Similarly, the Social Security system can be extremely complex, confusing, and complicated. But understanding how the system works is critical to your receiving the benefits to which you may be entitled.

Fortunately, the Internet helps by giving easy access to tons of important information. Here are some Social Security websites addressing those living with HIV/AIDS, along with a brief description of each site. All of these websites are official Social Security Administration sites.

I've also listed the publication numbers so you can contact your local Social Security office for this information.
