ARTICLE IX
FUNDS
Section 1. Sources. The sources of funds shall be derived from the
student fees collected every semestral registration, proceeds of
fund-raising activities and other sources.
Section 2. Contributions. Contributions and/ or donations to the SG
shall be accepted by the SC only after determining that the acceptance
thereof is not a violation of its principles, not degrading to the
integrity and honor of the SC and shall not influence in any manner
its policies, programs and projects.
Section 3. Disbursements. Funds shall be disbursed only in accordance
with the budget approved by the LC. In extreme cases of urgency and
necessity, the EC with the approval of the majority of its members may
authorize disbursements not covered by the approved budget, provided
that the LC shall be notified by such action within forty-eight (48)
hours. The EC shall be held accountable for the said disbursement.
Section 4. Deposits. Funds of the SC shall be deposited in any
Accredited Government Depository Banks determined by the SC under the
account of UP-NCPAG-SG and shall be withdrawn or disbursed by check or
draft signed by the Chairperson and the Administrator for Finance.
Sufficient petty cash shall be maintained by the Administrator for
Finance to sustain the requirements of daily financial transactions of
the SC. The amount shall be determined by the EC.
Section 5. Transparency of accounts of SC shall be open to the GA at
the regular hours and days and shall be posted in SC Bulletin Board
and in any conspicuous place in the college.
Section 6. Allocation of Funds. An automatic appropriation of ten
percent (10%) of the total student fees collected shall be given to
the LC every semester.
