Drawing Planning & Setup

All annotation (see "Annotation" in section 4, "LAYERING," of this manual) shall be contained within paper space. Any measurable representation, Floor plan, site plan and any line that represents a measurable object, shall be constructed in model space “tilemode 1” at real world scale. For example, if you have a wall that needs to be constructed 10’ long, you should draw that wall 10’ long and scale it in the paper space "mview" window according to the scale factors provided on page A0-A3 in the "APPENDIX A - GRAPHICAL STANDARDS" section of this manual.

All graphical features of a NARAM working drawing shall adhere to the aesthetic examples given in the "APPENDIX A - GRAPHICAL STANDARDS" section of this manual. All graphical representations in Appendix A can be found in digital format in the H:\Project name \..\*.DWG discipline folder on the network, the discipline folders being

Architectural “AA”, Mechanical “MM”, Electrical “EE”, Plumving (SAN+FIRE) “PB”, Fireprotection “FF”, Sanitary “SS” and General “GE or C14”
