The script on the right is a Marquee (automatic scroller). Great fr News Tickers. You can change the direction after it says <marquee direction=???> and change how fast it goes with scroll amount. Change the height and width to your needs as well.
SCROLLER COLOUR CHANGE:
On every page you build, you can either have the boring default gray colour on your page for the scroller (the thing you use to move the page up and down, DUH!) or a nice customizable coloured one like mine. Just change the #00000 with the hexidecimals (colour codes) and paste this on your page! It's that easy!

- Sold colour for background, I've seen lots of sites with cheap tiled DBZ images for the backgorund. This has two problems, it looks bad AND it's hard to read the text (unless you change it when the colour is different)
- GOOD PHOTO-EDITING AND GFX! Seriously, I don't mind if you get 4 hits a day and apply for affiliates, but PLEASE HAVE A GOOD LAYOUT. I've seen a few ugly sites in my day, and woah. Though there are many sites with the banner on the top, and content below, I don't mind, cause some sites say it's not unique, but it sure is better thanones that just have the content, and it look very ugly.
- Try to use HTML/Javascripts, even if they're really simple. I'm ue geocities because I'm not the best in HTML, but I know simple things.
- Have a neat, organized layout. I've seen sites that use HTML and the neviagation bar, and sometimes, even the content is over lapping eachother! It's kinda dumb.-_ Avoid silly gramatical errors and typos. I know I sound like a teacher, but it gets annoying. Try to revise your work.
- I hate force voting sites. They suck. It's the only reason that those sites get popular.
- Don't have like, 10 popups per page. One or two IN YOUR WHOLE SITE is okay, but not that many per page.
- It's not only the photo-editing, but the content matters too, plus the appearence of the content (as mentioned before, overlapping things aren't too hot!). Sites that have yellow text on a white background makes the reader blind, and makes the fan not want to visit the site again. Plus, webmasters who type like ThIs A LoT ArE ReAlLy AnNoyInG! Another thing that's annoying are those sites that swear for no reason. I don't mean words like crap, but fuck in like every single paragraph. It's dumb.
- Splashes that take years to load really annoy me, I have a slow modem and it's irritating. My splash looks cool, and it's not the size of the whole page. Well, it looks cool in my opinion.
All in all, have a good layout. That's the real route to success.
