Due to many requests from one or two people and one or two requests from many people I have relented and put up this music page. I say relented, not because I dislike Welsh music (which I don't) but because of the time it takes to hunt them down and to make sure (as far as is possible) that they are genuinely from Wales. Celtic music hails from places such as Wales, Ireland and Scotland, and yes I know, other places too, but being Welsh I am just mentioning those in my own part of the world. Anyway, I have relied on the origin of each midi from the locations they came from, so any mistakes are not my own. You will need a midi player to hear these file, and many can be easily downloaded from the web. That said I hope you find this page useful.
Ar Hyd Y Nos Holl amrantau'r sr ddywedant Ar hyd y nos 'Dyma'r ffordd i fro gogoniant Ar hyd y nos. Golau arall yw tywyllwch I arddangos gwir brydferthwch Teulu'r nefoedd mewn tawelwch Ar hyd y nos. O mor siriol gwen a seren Ar hyd y nos I oleuo-i chwaer ddae ar en Ar hyd y nos. Nos yw henaint pan ddaw cystudd Ond i harddu dyn a'i hwyr dydd Rhown ein goleu gwan i'n gilydd Ar hyd y nos.
All Through The Night Sleep, my child, and peace attend thee All through the night Guardian angels God will send thee All through the night Soft the drowsy hours are creeping Hill and dale in slumber steeping I my loving vigil keeping All through the night. While the moon her watch is keeping All through the night While the weary world is sleeping All through the night O'er thy spirit gently stealing Visions of delight revealing Breathes a pure and holy feeling All through the night. Though I roam a minstrel lonely All through the night My true harp shall praise sing only All through the night Love's young dream, alas, is over Yet my strains of love shall hover Near the presence of my lover All through the night.

I ask not for ease and riches Nor earth's jewels for my part But I have the best of wishes For a pure and honest heart. Chorus Oh, pure heart so true and tender Fairer than the lilies white The pure heart alone can render Songs of joy both day and night. Should I cherish earthly treasure It would fly on speedy wings The pure heart a plenteous measure Of true pleasure daily brings. Chorus Eve and morn my prayers ascending To God's heaven on wings of song Seek the joy that knows no ending The pure heart that knows no wrong. Chorus
Nid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus Aur y byd na'i berlau mn Gofyn rwyf am calon hapus Calon onest, calon ln. Cytgan: Calon ln yn llawn daioni Tecach yw na'r lili dlos Does ond calon ln all ganu Canu'r dydd a chanu'r nos. Pe dymunwn olud bydol Chwim adenydd iddo sydd Golud calon ln rinweddol Yn dwyn bythol elw fydd. Cytgan: Hwyr a bore fy nymuniad Esgyn ar adenydd cn Ar i Dduw, er mwyn fy Ngheidwad Roddi imi galon ln. Cytgan:

Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah Pilgrim through this barren land I am weak but Thou art mighty Hold me with Thy powerful hand. Bread of heaven, bread of heaven Feed me till I want no more Feed me till I want no more. Open now the crystal fountain Whence the healing waters flow Let the fiery, cloudy pillar Lead me all my journey through. Strong Deliv'rer, Strong Deliv'rer Be Thou still my strength and shield Be Thou still my strength and shield. When I tread the verge of Jordan Bid my anxious fears subside Bear me through the swelling current Land me safe on Canaan's side Songs of praises, songs of praises I will ever give to Thee I will ever give to Thee.
Wele'n sefyll rhwng y myrtwydd Wrthddrych teilwng o fy mryd Er o'r braidd 'rwy'n Ei adnabod Ef uwchlaw gwrthrychau'r byd Henffych fore! Caf ei weled fel y mae. Rhosyn Saron yw Ei enw Gwyn a gwridog, hardd Ei bryd! Ar ddeng mil y mae'n rhagori O wrthddrychau penna'r byd Ffrind pechadur! Dyma'r llywydd ar y mor. Beth sydd imi mwy a wnelwyf Ag eilunod gwael y llawr? Tystio 'r wyf nad yw eu cwmni I'w gymharu a'm Iesu Mawr. O! am aros Yn Ei gariad ddyddiau f'oes.

The land of my fathers is dear unto me The land of the poets, the land of the free Her patriots and heroes, her warriors so brave For freedom their life's blood they gave. Wales! Wales! Pledged am I to Wales Whilst seas surround This land so proud Oh, long may our old tongue remain
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn anwyl i mi Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri Ei gwrol rhyfelwyr, gwlad garwyr tra mad Tros ryddid collasant eu gwaed. Cytgan: Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad Tra mor yn fur I'r bur hoff bau O bydded i'r heniaith barhau. Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi. Cytgan: Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad. Cytgan:

Harlech, raise thy banners o'er us See the foe array'd before us Men of Meirion shout the chorus Cambria live for aye! Should until the cry is sounding To our land's remotest bounding And Eryri is resounding Cambria live for aye! Heroes, soldiers, rally On the foe we'll sally We will chase the hostile race From stream and hill and valley Conquest's banner proudly bearing We'll exult in their despairing Victory the shout declaring Cambria live for aye! Swords are reddening, life-blood poureth Loud the din of battle roareth Louder still the war-cry soareth Cambria live for aye! Spears and arrows swift are glancing Trumpets sounding, charges prancing Serried ranks with shouts advancing Cambria live for aye! Fierce his spirit rages Who with foe engages Hand to hand for Fatherland With honour held for ages. Wild the conflict, see they're reeling Vengeance now the sword is dealing Victory is thunder pealing Cambria live for aye!
