INFORMATION

• Tara Maclay was originally a shy, unconfident Wicca who was part of the U.C. Sunnydale Wicca Group. In a group of 'Wanna-Blessed-Bes,' Willow noticed the girl, and recognising the magic inside of Willow, Tara sought her out. Over the months that followed, the two girls honed their magicks together and became not only friends, but lovers. Becoming a firm and steady member of the core Scooby Gang, Tara became concerned when Willow began to depend on her magical abilities, and feeling that there was no alternative, left Willow for several months. Only after becoming friends again, did Tara reinitiate the relationship, which was cut tragically short when Warren Mears accidentally fired a bullet through the Summers' home's upper windows and it hit Tara in the heart, killing her instantly.
