Central Reclamation Phase II and Wan Chai Reclamation Phase I were completed in 1997 while Central Reclamation Phase I was completed in mid 1998. 　 Project History The Central Reclamation Phase III (CRIII) Project is the final phase of planned waterfront reclamation in the Central District of Hong Kong Island. Referring to as the “Minimum Reclamation Option”, significantly changed to the original reclamation configuration; reducing the reclamation from 32 to 18 hectares, with the majority of the transport infrastructure to be located underground. In the long-term, the ultimate design will  create a waterfront that complements Hong Kong’s famous skyline whilst making the best use of the reclaimed land. 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 中 環 填 海 計 劃 第 III 期 ( 天 星 碼 頭 及 添 馬 艦 擴 建 部 分 填 海 計 劃)   中 環 填 海 計 劃 第 III 期 會 填 造 新 土 地， 連 接 中 環 填 海 計 劃 第 I 期 及 龍 景 街 附 近 的 灣 仔 發 展 計 劃 第 II期 。 這 填 海 區 提 供 土 地 興 建 機 場 鐵 路 越 位 隧 道 延 展 部 分 和 中 環 及 灣 仔 繞 道 ， 亦 會 興 建 一 條 連 綿 的 海 濱 散 步 長 廊 ， 令 市 區 環 境 更 具 吸 引 力 。 工 程  於 2003 年 動 工 ， 中段因社會反對局部停工 , 預計2007 年 完 成 。 I joined the team on 1 April, 2003. 　 中環填海 創造未來 優美海岸 決定要改 如此構思 冇益有害 亂咁規劃 正一蠢才 航道改窄 認真活該 大好維港 從此不再 天星碼頭 有咗好耐 位置適中 方便過海 遊客稱讚 紛紛前來 填海之後 碼頭要改 想出碼頭 要行好耐 行幾里路 至過到海 百年文化 話改就改 身為港人 認真無奈 呢班飯筒 唔用腦袋 你話香港 幾咁悲哀
