| We travelled from Rothenburg to Munich September 5th and enjoyed as much as possible before catching our night train to Vienna. We toured the Pinnakothek Museum and saw extensive Egyptian artifacts, and even got to see Albrecht Durer's famous self portrait before being shuffled out at closing time. We then went to the English Gardens and went walking with all the locals. Everyone seemed to be there except the tourists! |

| There aren't very many tourists clamoring to see the famed Glockenspiel at night, so it worked out well for us. We ate mounds of meat at a sidewalk cafe around the corner before walking down the main pedestrian zone to hear the street musicians playing. There was a drunken foreigner with an accordian, A student with a full-size keyboard, and naturally some men trying to pick up on unsuspecting tourist women. It must be time to... |
