Ryan Mithaniel sits alone in his quarters feeling the thoughts of Marion run through his mind. Her thoughts are getting a better hold on to his mind. He lets this happen even though he knows that with each passing second of her doing this he becomes more reliant on her. He also knows their will be a point when he won't be able to withdraw from her at all. But as he decides he doesn't care a buzzer sounds at his door. He stands from his chair and then floats across the room and unlocks the door. Seconds after the door opens and finds an Ensign standing at the door.
"Umm.... Sir." says the man nervously. "We have arrived at the engagement zone sir. The target has been detected and it is heading straight for us."
"Thank you." nods Ryan. "Now get back to the bridge and tell the officer there to deploy all mobile weapons and begin the plan."
The young man nods and then launches himself down the hallway. Ryan launches himself down the hallway in the oposite direction. It only takes himself a couple of minutes to make it to the mobile suit deck. Once there he finds his mobile suit already running and ready to go. He quickly puts on his normal suit and then climbs into the cockpit of his mobile suit. Once he finds himself out side he spots the Bigro already on its attack run against the Federation Salamis. The ship is already firing at the mobile armor but it easily dodges the attacks and fires off a blast from its large mega particle cannon.
The blast hits the bridge of the Salamis dead center killing its command crew. As it flies over the ship it fires missiles at various places across its body destroying weapons. And then it is past the ship but not past danger as the GM Juggler appears at fires at the retreating form of the mobile armor. The shots miss the target but it doesn't back for another attack run. Then Ryan finds himself facing the newtype in a battle much like the one in the damaged colony but this time he is more able to use the Exam system to his advantage.
Maya blasts out of the Salamis as somthing in the mobile deck explodes and fills it with fire. Once out in the coldness of space in her mobile ship she checks her armament and finds she only has a beam gun and her beam sabers. She frowns but has no time to think about that as she blasts backwards a little bit. In the spot she was seconds before an energy blast rips by. She looks upwards and spots a Gelgoog heading towards her.
"It has returned." curses Maya as she fires two shots upwards at the Gelgoog. "Wait. No. Thats the orginal type Gelgoog."
A grin forms on her face and she blasts upwards. The Gelgoog meets her charge with its beam rifle. She dodges blast after blast but finds the distance between her suit and the Gelgoog remaining the same. Thats when she realizes it has better performance. With a cry of rage she begins firing her beam gun rapidly at the Gelgoog. Like her the mobile suit easily weaves around the shots. A cry in her mind forces her to looks back towards the GM Juggler and its attack. She looks just in time to see an energy blast punch through its back and come out its chest. It explodes and showers debris against the Efreet Custom's armor. Then a large chunk slams into the Efreet and removes its legs.
She then feels another attack and blasts backwards dodging an energy blast but she is surprised as the Gelgoog appears in front of her with its twin beam sword in hand. All Maya is able to do is try to dodge while the suit strikes. Even though she dodged the Gelgoog slices away her suit's head and left arm. Then it brings the other end of the weapon through her suit's legs. Losing most her thrust she knows the only thing she can do is eject so she does. As her hatch blows open and her seat is launched away from her mobile suit she watches as the Gelgoog brings its beam sword through the torso of her suit and then it disappears in the GM Sniper Custom's fireball as it explodes.
Then finds herself too far from the battle to see anything more than light of the ship as it finally explodes under the barrage of the Pegasus class ship and the mobile armor. She sighs and sits back to wait for her rescue by colonists coming to the battle to search for salvage and survivors.
Outcome: New Dream destroyed
Efreet Custom: 2 days of damage, 8 vp
Gelgoog: 1 day of damage, 8 vp
GM Sniper Custom: suit upgrading for 8 days, 10 vp
Fires Of War
Sitting alone in the darkness of space the lone GM Sniper Custom moves through momentum only. Most of its systems are shut down. Its pilot's mind is reaching outward feeling all those minds inside the colony and outside of it. She sighs as she opens her eyes and in them her other vision can still be seen. With out even having to having to look at her aim she brings up her beam rifle and fires off a two second blast. She moves her beam rifle a few inches to the left and is rewarded with a few explosions nearer the colony.
"Too bad those were just gattle." Sighs Maya as she ignites her thrusters and blasts towards the colony.
In response the base launches its three mobile suits and the rest of its fighters. Maya frowns as the don't come straight at her but move towards the north end of the colony. They move to a certian distance away from the nose of the colony then the head towards her.
"What the hell?" Maya asks herself. But she decides to find out and fires her beam rifle at the colony.
In the wake of energy blasts are many explosions. And she starts to curse and continues forwards. The mobile suits and fighters move on an intercept course but she knows she will make it to the edge of the mine field before they can catch her. A few minutes later she comes as close as she dares to the mine field. Then she brings up her beam rifle and fires it at the nearest window and uses the rest of the energy in her beam rifle. She is rewarded with area of the mine field in front of her and along the path of her beam exploded. At the colony a window erupts outward as atmosphere tries to leak outwards. Then she notices movement all around her. She is unable to figure what it was at first because she feels the pilots behind her still aways away.
Then she realizes what the movement was and curses violently. The mines having detected the heat source this close to their orbital plane are homing in on her suit. She reacts quickly and blasts towards the incoming mobile suits. Hoping they will break off their pursuit of her but the mines just keep coming. The three Zaku II Kai don't even know what hit them as they are consumed by fire and explosions. The fighters fare better as only two more of their number are destroyed but the others blast upwards away from the mines. Maya on the other hand finds herself being over taken. The first mine to hit her suit contact's the left leg and explodes near its surface. The heat from the explosion causes the left leg from the knee down to evaporate while the rest of the leg is torn away. Then two more mines connect with the left side of the suit and the armor there gives way under the force of the explosion.
Then the mines head back towards their orginal position. Maya lets a sigh of relief out and flops back into her seat as she continues towards the area where the transport is waiting for her. But her thruster die on her and she is forced to wait as her present momentum keeps her going forwards. Sighing because of her defeat Maya sits drops her head forward and reaches outwards to find the minds of those two newtypes. She finds them and realizes they aren't near the base.

Ryan Mithaniel as he sits in his cockpit after answering the question that was asked of him the day before. As he does his mind is filled with the sense of those around him. He is first able to identify the techs then by the second he is able to identify those people in different part of the ship but it is from a different point of view then if it were coming from him. It almost seems as if he is looking through a computer generated image but what comes next feels all to real to him. He feels several minds cry out in rage at betrayal. Unable to figure out what caused that he frowns but the feeling is quickly swept from his mind.
"Today Ryan and from now on you shall never be alone again." says the female as he feels her fill every part of her mind with her warmth. "Neither of us will ever know the loneliness that I have suffered."
He just nods and lets his senses wonder off the wonderful feeling surrounding him.
Outcome: Alpha Prime remains

Newtype Vs. EXAM
Following the direction of the minovsky particle readings like bread crumb trail the Ragnarok II hunts down the Federation ship New Dream. The ship's commander's only thoughts are on the man who escaped him. Ryan knows the man has stopped running and is now waiting for him. Standing on the bridge he stares ahead of him along on the path that the minovsky particles are leaving for them to follow. Even though he can't see them himself he knows where they are. As they get closer to the source of the particles he spots a dark shape just as the sensors detected it.
"What is it that." asks Ryan as his eyes narrow.
"Its a badly damaged colony." answers Lance Mithaniel behind him.
"How do you know that." asks Ryan as he looks over at the sensor officer for confirmation that the huge dark object is a colony but the man just shrugs.
"I can feel the dead from it." answers Lance without removing his eyes from the colony. "Millions of dead."
"How did it get destroyed? Was it us?"
"I don't think so. The feeling I am getting from them is that it was sudden and killed all of them almost instantly. If we did I would be feeling betrayal from them and a sense of hatred."
"Will you still be able to pilot?"
"Yes."
Then Lance turns and walks from the bridge. Ryan frowns and then looks back out the view port and finds that he can tell it was a colony but of the closed type. Which is very unusual for any of the clusters outside of Side 3 space. But the pair of huge holes that seem to have been blown outwards seems to tell the story of how everyone died. He finds himself holding his breath and lets it out.
"What are the readings on the colony?" asks Ryan.
"No life readings or power readings. Even heat readings are pretty much non-existant sir." answers the sensor officer. "By the way things look out here I would say some kind of massive explosion happened inside the colony and it probably sent a fireball hot enough to burn away buildings in a matter of seconds throughout the colony."
Ryan nods his head but finds he is unable to pull his eyes away from the colony. "This was probably one of the first closed colonies. But I don't remember ever hearing of one having an accident like this."
"Me neither sir."
"Any sign of the Salamis?"
"No but it is here. Probably hiding inside the colony somewhere."
"Well orders the suits to launch and will follow them as soon as I am in the Efreet Custom." orders Ryan as he turns and leaves the bridge to head towards the mobile suit deck.

Lance eyes search around him as he moves towards the colony. He has a Zaku II Kai with him. His mind is also reaching but his abilities are only strong enough to feel the emotions of those that died here. With that almost overwhelming him from being this close to the place they died Lance just closes his mind from the outside and increases towards the burned out colony. His destination is the south end of the colony, The Rick Dom and the other Zaku II Kai are heading for the north end of the colony.
As he nears a spot he thinks will be the best place to enter he spares one more glance back towards the Ragnarok II and sees the Efreet Custom finally exit the ship and pair up with the Rick Dom II and towards one of the big holes in the colony's walls. Then his Gelgoog drops into the hole. He finds himself in a hallway that his mobile suit can easily stand in. Using the magnetic pads in his suit's feet Lance lands on the ground and start carefully walking forwards. Beside and slightly behind him the Zaku II Kai follows with its bazooka ready.
After a corner Lance comes under fire from a GM. Its position giving it easy shots at the unprepared pair while they try to either shoot back or take cover. The Zaku II Kai who decided to fire back is cut down as mutiple energy blasts cut through its armor and then it explodes. This blows the walls and roof apart exposing machinery that hasn't been working for years. Lance then leans around the corner long enough to fire off a few shots from his beam rifle at the GM but finds it no longer there.

Ryan as he nears the large hole that extends beyond what his monitor is showing spots the enemey Salamis as it comes over horizon of the colony and starts firing at him with missiles and energy blasts. He curses and blasts down into the hole as fast as he can but he orders the Rick Dom II back to the ship to help it with the Salamis. When Ryan comes out into the heart of the colony he is shocked at the level of destruction around him. But he spots a GM and the newtype suit from before. He blasts towards the two suits while dodging their weapons fire. Once he feels he is close enough he fires a grenade at the GM. It hits dead in the suit's chest and explodes.
"Now it is just me and you." states Ryan over the radio to his opponent. But he feels arms wrap around him and he feels the world around him expand as he feels the terror of those that died and the mind of his opponent.
"Join me and you will never be alone again Ryan." says a female voice that seems to surround him. "Together he will find us a strong opponent. Together we shall free this universe from conflict. Join me so I won't be alone here anymore."
"Who are you?" asks Ryan as he blasts upwards away from the GM Juggler to allow himself times to talk to this woman. "And how am I feeling all this that is around me?"
Then he sees the arms wrapped around him. He looks over his shoulder to find the woman behind his seat. "I am Marion and while we are joined you will find you can see and feel what I feel. I can also feel what you feel. While we are joined we are one and we are powerful. Now join me."
As emotion floods over him all he can do is nods. And she grins. "This won't be permanent yet Ryan I will let you think more about it after we have defeated him."
Then Ryan feels the ball bits as they begin to fire at him. He easily spins around the blasts. He then turns away from them and blasts after GM Juggler itself. It seems to stand out to him as sends some missiles ahead of him. The GM Juggler fires its machinegun and destroys all of the missiles before they get close to it. Ryan frowns but fires his assault rifle at the GM Juggler. Not really expecting the bullets to hit he isn't surprised as the GM Juggler dodges the attack and draws a beam saber.
"Today you will regret hunting me down." says a voice in Ryan's head set as the GM Juggler charges. It empties its remaining bullets in its machinegun which Ryan is able to dodge at the cost of his assault rifle but he easily draws his two heat sabers and blasts forwards as well.
The ball bits make themselves known again as they send energy blasts at the Efreet Custom. Ryan takes a hit to one of his missile pods but he just ejects whats left of it and does the same to the other. Then Ryan is dodging and slashing at the GM Juggler. They both quickly score several small hits on each other but none of them do any real damage. As the two suits weave in out of each others reach blows fly back and forth at such a high speed that they are hard to follow but it quickly comes to an end as the ball bits score a hit on the Efreet's back. Luckily for Ryan the blast just disables the thrusters mounted there. But before the GM Juggler can finish Ryan off a blue mobile suit appears and fires a panzer faust into each bit.
Seeing himself now out matched the Federation pilot blasts away from the Efreet and heads for the farthest hole from the battle going on outside the colony.
"Sir the New Dream is pulling back." states a voice in Ryan's head set.
"Don't let it!!" yells Ryan as he lets the Kampfer grab a hold of him and pull him towards the hole nearest their ship.
"Sir we can't pursue it. Our engines where damaged. It will take us an hour to get them repaired."
"Damn it. We prepare for my arrival and orders the suits that have dealt with any Federation target they have ran into to return to the ship and those that are fight tell them to quickly to finish up and then return."
"Acknowledged sir."
Ryan then sits back and is startled at the level of damage on the Ragnarok II. He shakes his head but allows himself to be taken to its mobile suit deck.
"Now think about joining with me Ryan." says the woman as she removes her arms and floats away from.
"Where are you?"asks Ryan as he watches her disappear from view.
"I am part of this mobile suit. I am what makes the EXAM system so powerful." she says and then Ryan can no longer feel her. With out the newtype senses he had minutes ago he almost feels death and blind but starts shutting down his suit and then leaves the mobile suit to go to his quarters to think on what Marion asked him.

Buring of Belfast Base
Standing on the bridge of the Dark Rain Jynx Staff watches as a Gaw across from her own drops an Acguy into the sea below. She knows at the same time her ship is dropping a Zock into the ocean. So far neither suit has been used in battle but she feels now is the perfect time for both suits to show the Federation their strength. With a grin she nods at the pilot to proceed in the direction of the deployment area. The man nods and the view in the Gaw changes as it turns and climbs higher into the air.
Jynx then turns and heads for the mobile suit deck to get her suit ready. It only takes her a few minutes to get there. She finds the mobile suit deck in a state of chaos as pilots and mechanics race here and there to get everything set for the attack. She spots her Gouf Custom mobile suit standing beside a suit similar to hers. She grins at the thought of the two suits working as a pair cutting through the Federation ranks.
"Soon I will be able to test you." sighs Jynx as she goes to her suit to start it up and do the normal system checks.

Moving through the route that has been marked for him to patrol Kevin sighs at the boredom before him. So far all he has seen was rolling hills and the ocean. And for several hours seeing just this is driving him nuts. He sighs again and then looks up at the clouds in the sky.
"Why can't something just happen to change this boring scenery." asks Kevin to no one in particular.
He is surprised as several shells slam into the wall beside him. He spins around and spots a line of Magella Attack tanks firing on the base. He curses and sounds the alert. Behind him he base's alarms sound. Then diving out of the sky several Dopps open fire on different parts of the base. As he charges forwards he finds the sonar feed to him go to static. He curses again but begins firing his cannon on the retreating tanks. He fails to hit them with any of the shells but he blocks their view of himself. He grins as he chases them. Behind he notices several of the already depoyed mobile suits following him.
At the docks of the base though there is only a pair of GMs guarding the docks. Their pilots are disappointing in not being in on the main part of the defense of the base. But one of them notices a shadow in the water near the dock and he moves forwards but has no chance to react as an Acguy blasts out of the water and fires an energy blast through his cockpit. As the other pilot charges forwards the Acguy does the same to it as well. Then out of the water comes a Zock. Both suits race down the dock to the main part of the base.
They find their target easily because when they enter the main part of the base they spot a pair of GM mobile suits exiting a hanger. Both suits open fire and seconds later the hangers and the mobile suits in them are destroyed. The suitz out side of the hangers though turn and attack the two marine suits. They are forced to retreat back towards the water under heavy machinegun fire. As they retreat though they spot two large dark shapes moving towards them. And the anti-air machinegun and missile turrets begin to open fire.

High above the battlefield Jynx and her suit is standing on a Dodai YS which is circling the area. Near by the other Gouf Custom of the fleet on a Dodai YS as well does the same. Both pilots are watching the battle unfolding below. Then the base spots them and the air fills with missiles and bullets. The missiles that come near then are destroyed by the other Gouf. But as two large bombers appear and the base's remaining fighters start to attack Jynx realizes it is time and orders the Dodai YS to take her to the back of the Federation mobile suits.
The pilot nods and drops the suit and his bomber down through the clouds at a high speed to avoid the base's anti-air batteries. As they near the ground the bomber fires off a few missiles into the Federation mobile suit. Only one falls to the shower but others are damaged and then Jynx finds her suit standing on the ground and the bomber climbing back into the sky. A second after her partner lands and both of them race forwards and each cut down a GM rather easily. Then she comes to a GM Command and the pilot easily dodges her first attacks.
But before they can attack each other too much Jynx notices her forces kind of split in two. Before she can spend much thought on the movement her question is answered as two powerful energy blasts burn through the remaining Federation forces, killing her opponent as well. She shakes her head and spares a glance back at the base and finds most of its building's either smoking or burning. About the only thing remaining that she can see is the spaceport and its launch catapult pointing off into the sky. She nods ad turns back to the battle more closer to her and finds only a couple GM's remaining. Including one GM that is firing a hyper bazooka at her. Jynx curses and tries to move away from the round as it rockets towards her but she fails to and it explodes against her suit's legs.
As her mobile suit comes to rest on the ground she looks up at the GM and fires her 3-barreled machinegun and her gattling gun. As the bullets start to chew into its armor the GM raises its bazooka and goes to fire. As she hears an explosion she closes her eyes waiting for death to take her but it never does. When she final opens her eyes she sees Stephen's suit standing over her blocking weapons fire from an enemy gundam.
"Stephen fire at him!!" she orders.
"Sorry Commander but I don't have any more armor. You are more important than I am." answers Stephen's voice.
Then she sees four missiles rocket out of the gundam's hand held weapon. They slam into the suit's chest destroying the cockpit and killing the pilot inside. The bullets hitting the suit final hit something important and the suit seems to shatter. Kevin in the Heavy Gundam lets out a cheer but it is short lived as a shell lands near him and explodes. His suit's legs buckle out from under him but his suit is back on its feet quickly. Then another Dom appears with a heat saber and cuts through his suits shoulder. Now with no long range weapons available to him he knows that any further combat will probably get him killed.
But his indecision is decided for him as the base's highest ranking officer orders all forces still alive to flee the battle in what ever direction they can. Kevin nods and leaps towards the water hoping his cockpit is still properly sealed. He easily makes it to the water. He was half expecting the Dom Funf to follow him but it doesn't and Kevin sighs as he looks towards the base to find it in a state of ruin.
"Good luck to those of you still left there." says Kevin as he makes his suit do another jump down the shore line in a direction that the Zeon forces aren't.
Outcome: Belfast Base Captured
Gouf Custom: 2 days of damage, 10 vp
Dom: pilot dead for six days, suit upgrading for 8 days, 10 vp
Zaku II C: no damage, 5 vp
Heavy Gundam: 1 day of damage, 18 vp
