Preparations:
In the heart of the mountain that house the Sahalin HQ Installation a high ranking Zeon officer looks over a group of mobile suit pilots who have been assigned to duty rosters that allow them to autonomous. But today they found themselves forced to take part in this briefing for a mission they know nothing about. Only one of the pilots seem concerned about this but that is more because she feels that her command is being terminated. The high ranking officer clears his voice and almost instantly the room quiets.
"Greetings. My name is Admiral Thomas Drakina." says the officer as he looks around the dark room. "I am ultimately in control of all the Zeon forces on Earth. To stop any fears some of you I am sure have I am not here to ruin any plans you my have and I am not taking you under my direct control except for this upcoming engagement."
He pauses as he lets this sink in the heads of some of the more thick headed pilot. "You will remain autonomous but I need you for this engagement. News has been leaked to our intelligence officers in the enemy force that they are planning to push through our front lines and when through they are going to press outwards and construct outposts."
"Why not just send reinforcements to strengthen our forces along the front lines?" asks Ryan Mithaniel.
"Because then we will give away the fact that we have spies amongst their forces." replies Drakina. "Also we are afraid that if we deploy forces after that they may suspect their is a installation in the area. We can not allow this. So we have allowed leaks to the Federation saying that we transfering a battle group to strengthing the 306th Armored Corps already stationed in the are to force the time table of the Federation attack to an earlier time. This is where you pilots will come in handy. When the Federation attacks they will call for help. You will be the only ones near enough to respond. Also the transfering battle group will increase their speed and will arrive shortly. But there will be a time when our forces will be out numbered by the Federation forces. You must even this up. You will each be given a small task force of mobile suits to command."
"But I already have a MS Team under my control." states Christian Zee. A pilot of a Dom type mobile suit.
"I am aware of the that fact but those mobile suits and pilots will remain here to guard the mountain and to provide information of the new type of enemy gundam you faced yesterday." states Drakina as he looks over at the man. "Also it has been discovered that you also faced an enemy ace but he isn't of concern since we have plans for him in our attack plan that you don't need to concern yourself with."
He walks over to a nearby table that has a glass of water on it and takes a drink from the glass. "Now with these small task forces you must delay the enemy long enough for the other battle group to arrive. You aren't expected to fight them off just delay the Federation forces. As for your actual assignments you will get them from your duty chiefs upon deployment in a couple of hours. Dismissed."
Jynx Staff shakes her head as she stands to her feet. She then catches up to Spencer Crow and Christian Zee who just left the briefing room. "They don't this information leaked at all do they."
"No they don't. Brass must believe they are going to attack soon so they must have leaked this information days ago." grunts Spencer.
"Yeah. Thats what I was thinking. The thing is I think they know alot more than they are telling us. I think we better be read ready for the worst." sighs Jynx. "Spencer you better get your strongest weapons ready for this. I think we may be facing several Gundams and maybe some other surprises."
"I wonder why they aren't allowing the rest of my mobile suit team in on this operation?" sighs a slightly annoyed Christian. "It is almost like they don't too many pilots in the battle that know about that gundam or the enemy ace."
Jynx nods as she watches Ryan Mithaniel walk by. "He the other pilot who was there?"
"Yeah I think so. His voice sounds the same." nods Christian. "He has a mobile suit that seems to have similar handling to the Gouf mobile suit but seems to be armed differently."
"Probably something else that brass has kept quiet." grunts Spencer. "Well I think I shall go get my stuff together for this operation."
"Good luck."
"You too Jynx."
"Well I am going to go get some shut eye before we have to leave." states Christian as he turns down a side hallway towards the barracks.
Jynx just nods and continues towards a pilots lounge where she can get access to a terminal. Once there she makes sure her friends and herself get the supplies they need for the battle.

At the Federation installation mobile suit pilots are scrambling in hangers getting ready for a battle that they have been roped into doing as well. But to them this is more of test of their abilities than something they feel has more to it than they know. A pair of pilots who also seem to be officers are a perfect example of this as they just with each other is going to get the most zeeks. They both know that they have technology on their side. They also seem to know that Zeon has the numbers but don't seem to be bothered by this fact. More like they feel that it gives them more to shoot at.
"I swear if I get more kills on my shoulders you will treat me to a steak dinner Cam." grins Mike McCarville as he he finishes stretching his muscles. "I bet you don't even get half the amount of zeek kills as I do."
"Oh I will Mike and not only will I do that I will double your score." grins Cam Edwards as he finishes strapping himself into his normal suit. When he notices Mike watching him he shrugs. "Environment control. Last time I checked out there it was pretty warm. Now with this suit on I can be as cool or warm as I want."
"Good Idea." states Mike as he grabs his own normal suit and begins getting in it. "Oh and don't get yourself killed out there. Who will I have to rescue if you die?"
"I won't and good luck to yourself." sighs Cam as he turns and looks at his blue gundam.
Acoss the hanger standing in his open cockpit he shakes his head at the two officers. "They think they are good enough to get through this because they handled attacking each other just fine."
He shakes his head in disgust but is greeted by a voice that he hadn't heard since his last battle. "They are weak but you find yourself more eager to down Zeek pilots."
"I seen what they have done endless civilians. This in its own is worth destroying every last one of them." grunts Joseph Valisky.
"And too bad that little speech is a part of your character." sighs the voice. "Today maybe I will actually show you who I am and what I hav become. I am the one sporting a deep hatred for the Zeon pilots. I am the one who thinks they should burn. You are not effected by such emotion and I envy you for that. But they haven't taken from you what they have taken from me."
Joseph's answer to this is just a shrug as he drops himself into his seat as the screens around come to life and he is greeted by pretty much the same view he had when standing. But he also gains more information than what he had when he was just looking with his own eyes. "Your problems are just that yours. Nothing of my concern."
"You may not think so now but soon you will see that with my help you will become one of the greatest people the Federation has." says the voice with an strange calmness to it. It also seemed to come from all around him. He shrugs it off just thinking the person was talking to him through a radio channel. "You will see soon enough."
Across the hanger also in his mobile suit David Tomai snores loudly as techs around him go through the suit's start up and checking all its systems. He continues to sleep as a few of them get into a fight and start to yell at each other loudly. What finally wakes him though is the calm voice of an operations officer alerting everyone that they should all head to their positions in the jungle. Now fully awake and the techs gone he pilots the Mudrock out of the hanger into the night air.
Outside The Frontline
David Tomai finds himself looking down a hill at the area that he knows the Zeon lines are arrayed. He pulls his eyes away from that and takes in the new GM type mobile suits. They have the same technology as the Mudrock that allows it to move along the ground like a Dom. His task in this battle is to lead the GM S Armors into the frontline of the Zeon forces and try to punch a hole through their lines while other units try the same at different spots along the bottom of the hill. He sighs and checks his beam rifle and other weapons. Seeing every thing is operating at what they are supposed to be he nods and starts down the hill.
"Alright lets get this over with." grunts David as he boosts down the hill.
The GM are right on his tail each armed with a hyper bazooka. Feeling good with the firepower at his back he opens fire with his over the shoulder mounted cannons and begin shell the Zeon lines. The Zeon soldiers and pilots react instantly and begin firing on the attacking gundam and GM. Most of the weapons fire is machinegun fire and that doesn't seem enough to do more than dent the Mudrock's armor. As he gets closer to the enemy lines he gets a lock on and fires off his beam rifle. The blast cuts down a hapless Zaku II J. Another moves to take its place but before it can the GMs behind the Mudrock add their weapons to the fire storm and Zaku all around the area fall victim to the powerful rounds.
Cam and Mike when they see the Mudrock begin its attack erupt down the hill as well. Each armed with their hyper beam rifles. At that same instant the other mobile suit pilots begin their attack with the aid of ships moving either through the forest or over it. Mike and Cam though with their newtype connection to each act like a single person as the blast their way through the Zeon line. With them GMPGTs move through the enemy forces like a hot knife through butter. As they near to breaking through though a cloud of smoke blocks their sight. But with the aid of their weak newtype senses the two detect several Zeon forces moving towards. With a curse they begin firing their beam rifles in the general direction of the defending Zeons.
Ryan Mithaniel grins as a blast narrowly misses his suit. He continues his charge untill he come face to face to a ground type gundam and he fires off his shotgun into the unlucky's gundam's chest. Normally a shot from a solid based weapon would lightly damage the gundam's armor but thanks to the nearness of the shotgun and the size of it punches in the suits armor and then punches through it killing the pilot and destroying countless systems in the gundam. He then finds himself being left behind by the rest of his task force of Gouf mobile suits. He grunts and runs forwards only to watch a Gouf get cut down by a hovering Gundam. He grins and drops his shotgun and draws his heat saber and runs at the Gundam with a warcry erupting from his lungs.
The Mudrock turns and meets the Efreets charge with a grenade. The pilot merely dodges the grenade but it connects with a Gouf behind him and explodes. Ryan grits his teeth and slides under the Gundam's weapon and brings its heat saber into the Gundam's side. Even with its strong armor the heat saber still slides easily into its side. As the suit spits sparks out its wound the Efreet slides away only to find itself facing a GM armed with a machinegun. Ryan laughs and charges the mobile suit with heat saber in hand. As Ryan nears the mobile suit he realizes its the suit from before that handed him a sound defeat.
"To hell with orders." grunts Ryan as he charges the Blue Destiny. Unlike the Mudrock though the Blue Destiny is ready for him as it fires off its machinegun. The bullets easily punch through the titanium shell the Efreet and it falls at its feet.
"Maybe Joseph you aren't a total loss." says the familar voice. "Let see how you handle this."
Joseph frowns but soon enough he finds what the man was talking about as a Gaw appears in the sky. Before he can react through it pours blasts from its mega particle cannons into the area his suit is. The G04 nearby witnesses the Blue Destiny's distruction and curses under his breath. He spots a heavily damaged Mudrock fall as well. He checks the range of the aircraft and finds it with range of his beam rifle but knows he lacks the skill to make a good hit on the aircraft before it returns fire. He curses again and looks around himself finding the area pretty much clear.
"Ensign Cam Edwards?" says a voice in his headset.
"Yeah." says Cam as he looks over his shoulder and spots a GM holding a new looking weapon hooked to a cable. He frowns but accepts it from the GM. "Whats this do?"
"It is a mega beam launcher and you will use it take out the Gaw." grunts the GM pilot as he leaves the gundam and its new toy. "And try to hit it."
"Funny." sighs Cam at the retreating GM. He then checks the weapon's charge and finds it full and ready to fire. He grins to himself and begins aiming at the giant aircraft above him. It takes only seconds to get a lock and another second to fire. A massive blast of energy erupts from the mega beam launcher. The solid stream easily cuts into the Gaw and he moves the beam down the aircraft until it explodes.
Cam is struck silent by the sheer power of the weapon and with out releasing the trigger points it down at a group of Gouf mobile suits advancing on a damaged group of Ground type GMs. The Zaku II J are vaporized but an alarm sounds in the cockpit and Cam finds his beam launcher overheating. He curses and tries to shut it down by finds it is impossible to do it now and cries out for help as the weapon explodes. It tears his suit apart bu luckily he survives with a few burns but it knocks him out.
Mike who just pushed his way through the Zeon lines sees the explosion and feels who it was attached to and cries out. With hardly any shots left in his hyper beam rifle he absently shoves it into a Zaku and turns around and runs to his friends aid. Before he can get there though he spots several GMs disappear into a green cloud. As he feels their death's in his mind he looks back towards his friend but he knows what is causing the green cloud and he knows that he must deal with it right away. He cries out in sorrow but turns and rushes a nearby Zaku I B that just launched another canister grenade into the trees further up the hill.
"Stop now before I am forced to kill you." orders Mike as he draws his beam saber.
The Zaku turns its side to him and the mono moves to look at him. He gets an weird feeling from the pilot as he charges forwards. The pilot easily steps backwards out of the charge and slams a shield into the charging gundam's legs making it fall onto its face before a large tree. As the G05 regains its feet it is forced to dodge an attack from the Zaku's heat sword. Mike counter attacks with his beam saber. The more agile gundam though finds its job easily as the bulky Zaku I tries to dodge to the side gets the beam saber thrust to the right shoulder. As it stumbles Mike fires his vulcan's into the Zaku's head destroying it and the mono eye camera with it. As the temporarily blinded Zaku stumbles backwards Mike cuts its shoulders from its body.
Before he can finish the Zaku off though a Gouf mobile suit lands behind and slams its heat rod into the gundams back. With a surge of electricity the Gundam shuts down. Before Jynx can even think about finishing the gundam off several Guncannons begin to fire on her position. She curses and charges their position. Being agile the Gouf easily keeps from being hit and slices down the first Guncannon. Back at the G05 Mike quickly goes through a system restart. When he finally restarts he finds himself watching a Guncannon getting cut down by the Gouf. He cries out as its pilot moves on the last one and before he knows it he throws his beam saber. The blade cuts through the Gouf's legs and the Guncannon's legs and saves the pilot from dying at the hands of the zeek pilot.
Mike cries out in relief and goes to draw his beam saber but finds himself with a Dom standing in front of him with several other Dom mobile suits arrayed around him. He curses and tries to draw his beam saber in time but the Dom fires of its scattering beam gun and blinds his suits cameras. Also seeing spots Mike failsto react as the Dom shoves its heat saber into his gundam. The reactor though does an emergency shut down and when the Dom removes its heat saber the gundam falls to the ground useless.
"Just like killing babies in a crib." grunts Christian as he turns around to look for another target. But what he sees surprises him.
With beam saber in its hand the battered Blue Destiny charges the Dom. Christian easily boosts away while his allies start firing on the GM. But the suit easily dodges the attacks and then cuts down the Doms one at a time until Christian is left alone.
Inside the Blue Destiny Joseph useless bangs on his suits controls trying to get them to respond to him. But when the still fail to respond he finally yells out in fustration.
"Its about time. I know you did well on your own to survive against the attack from the Gaw but now its my turn." says the familar voice. "And you are probably wondering how I am controling the Blue Destiny. Well the answer is I AM the Blue Destiny. It is chance at immortality and my chance to make the Duchy of Zeon pay. Now watch and learn."
As Joseph cries out in protest his suit charges straight at the Dom. It grabs on of its fallen ally's giant bazooka and starts firing at the Blue Destiny. Christian cries out as the suit continues to dodge his attacks until it comes close enough to use its beam saber. As the Blue Destiny slices into the Dom Christian boosts away. The blade doesn't kill but it still takes its toll as the already somewhat damage leg finally falls off and the Dom slams into the ground and slides through several tries that damage the Dom further until it can be barely called a mobile suit.
"Weak fool." says Wraith in the Exam system of the Blue Destiny. The suit turns and takes in the falling line of the Zeon forces. He grunts and gives back control to Joseph. "Complete your mission."
Joseph nods and runs towards the hole in the enemy line when out of the sky several Dom Tropen's fall. The land and behind them appear several Action Zaku and Xamel mobile suits appear. The only action before his suit is shredded by weapons fire is his mouth to fall open. And with the Blue Destiny out of the fight and the Zeon forces arriving the Federation's attempt at breaking through the Zeon line fails.
Outcome: Blue Destiny comes in first, Dom second, G05 third and the Efreet gains the first kill award.
