No more than a shadow among trees a GM Sniper Custom watches a pair of Zaku II J mobile suits walk by on patrol. The pilot inside shakes her head at the two Zeon mobile suits with distaste. But as soon as they disappear from sight she brings her mind to more important things. The back of her mind can still sense the two pilots of the Zeon patrol but she doesn't really notice it. Her attention is now directed at the mountain that is towering over her at even this distance. Her choice of firing spot is a lake that hasn't been patroled much. She spent most of the day observing the lake just to make sure. All she saw was a Luggon fly over the area.
At the edge of the lake she stops and takes a long look around. About an hour later she finally enters the lake. When she reaches a spot that will mostly submerge her mobile suit when it kneels she stops. The she raises her sniper rifle and aims it at the mountain. The first thing she sees surprises her. A lone female in a dress is sitting at the base of a fairly large tree. With short hair flowing in an unseen wind the woman seems to be in deep thought.
With a shrug and a mental effort Maya moves her rifle to take in some movement on the mountain side. She sees a Dom Tropen leaving an elevator. Knowing she won't have much time she quickly aims her rifle and fires. Due to a slight error in windage the bullet moves a little to the left and takes out its arm. Reacting quickly Maya fires again. This tim her shot hits dead on and kills the pilot.
Two minutes later another Dom Tropen appears at the edge of the lake. Its pilot happened to see the flashes from both shots and reacted quickly. For the whole trip he was able to keep an eye on the lake. Nothing moved on it so he assumed the mobile suit that fired the shots was on shore and the flash he saw was a reflection on the water. As the mono scans the shoreline he sees nothing the swaying of branches from the wind. The pilot shakes his head as he continues to look around growing more and more nervous by the second. Finally he flees the area and leaves the lake to go about its normal night time activities.
Outcome: Sahalin HQ remains

Sniper in the Night
A green colored GM moves quietly through the jungle. For the most part the jungle is very quiet. Its pilot spots a nearby hill and she turns the GM to it and waits patiently as the mobile suit works towards the hill and then finally it starts to climb the hill. Once at the top Maya stops the GM Sniper Custom and then has it kneel. Seeing that the suit is ready she opens the hatch and then climbs out.
Once on the ground she quickly gathers bushes and other such objects and places them around the GM Sniper to hide it from view. After a few hours work she clmbs back into the GM Sniper and begins the work of location her target by visual scans only. At the range she is at from the target she can only hope to find them that way anyways. It doesn't take her long to find the right mountain. But she mutters an oath to herself as she finds her vision blocked in places by smoke.
"I can't believe the fires are still burning from the attack yesterday." she sighs to herself.
She continues to look around the mountain but finds nothing in the air except for a few fast moving fighters. So she sits back to wait.

Two hours later she finds herself still sitting waiting for the target. Due to keeping her power levels low to avoid detection she is in a dark cockpit with no air conditioning. After the first hour she found that she wasn't able to keep her uniform on and thus took it off. Now she is just her sports bra and a pair of black shorts she was smart enough to bring along. Movement on a side monitor draws her attention. She spots a Zaku II J on patrol but after it passes by with out noticing her she ignores it and looks back towards the base. Around her the terrian starts to grow brighter as the moon begins to come out. Another hour passes by before she decides to go after a secondary target.
Armed with a bullet firing sniper rifle she knows she can firea couple shots from this range with out having to worry about the enemy finding her. Her first target is a Zaku Cannon sitting a bunker looking area with its cannon ready to fire on any target that it should find. But tonight she knows it won't find any but death. With carefull movements of her hands she manually aims at the Zaku Cannon's chest. Specifically at the suit's cockpit. Checking the wind speed and other such details she makes sure her aim is correct and then with a pull of a trigger she fires.
A few seconds pass before she sees the Zaku jerk backwards and then its chest explode outwards. Soldiers near the feet of the Zaku spring into action. One of them climb the suit to check on its pilot. Finding nothing much left of the cockpit the pilot quickly climbs down off the Zaku and flee the area with the rest of the infantry. Satisified with her kill her view moves along the mountain side as she searches for another target. She finds another Zaku Cannon but this time the forces around it are in motion. She also notices the suit's mono eye searching for the attacker that killed its ally.
She then goes through the motions she went before but this time checking around herself to make sure the Zaku II J isn't nearby. Not seeing anything she nods to herself and double checks everything before she fires again. This time she aimed a little lower and when the shot hit the Zaku it exploded in a massive explosion that blinded her for a few seconds. When the spots in her eyes finally vanished she is greeted with a view of that chunk of the mountain side clear of everything that could be called life. She shakes her head. And readies herself to leave.
About a hour later the Zaku II J who saw the flash from Maya's last shot arrived at the top of the mountain side. All that was left as evidence that the GM was there was a couple spent bullet casings and the debris used to cover the mobile suit. Unknown to the pilot though is that the GM didn't move far and at that second is watching the Zaku with her main camera. With a final look around the Zaku II J turns towards the mountain that houses the base that was just attacked and heads back to report its findings.

Shaking of the Mountain
Lost in thoughts of hurt and saddness Kyle finds himself ignoring most of the briefing that he has heard many times already today. With a sigh he checks his watch for the time left to get to Sahalin's Mountain. He shakes his head still seeing a long wait still ahead of him. He is eager to meet Federation pilots in combat and hopefully dispatch a few. Earlier today the fleet's flagship detected a Federation task force moving on Sahalin's Mountain. The Feddies are ahead of the Zeon fleet but he knows that he will get there in time to meet a few suits in combat.
"Kyle Crow pay attention!" snaps Jynx as her voice intrudes on Kyle's thoughts. "If you don't listen to the briefing how can you be prepared for the upcoming battle."
"Sorry ma'am." apologizes Kyle. "I will try to pay more attention."
"Good. Now the Federation forces seems to include the fleet that escaped their base that we destroyed." states Jynx. "We have also discovered that all the major Federation powers in the area are going to be there so they have a good chance of causing trouble for the mountain defenses."
"Now this may take all we got just to make the enemy forces flee the area." continues Jynx. "They have something to prove with this battle so they will be even more determined than when we last faced him."
As Jynx continues her briefing Kyle's thoughts once again fall back to his father.

In the Champion Mike McCorville is sitting on the bridge looking out the main view port waiting for the time to come for him to go to his mobile suit. His view though is off clouds and the jungle canopy a long ways below. He sighs thinking about the crew he lost on the Paladin each time Zeon forces encountered it until finally the ship was destroyed. To alot of the common soldiers in the Federation the Paladin has been called a cursed ship. Also due to what happened to the ship alot of people have been calling Mike the cursed officer.
"You are thinking about the Paladin again aren't you?" asks a voice beside Mike. "I can feel your anger and sorrow."
"Yeah I was Cam." sighs Mike. "I just wish there was something I could of done to stop so many people from dying."
"But today we can make those Zeek scum pay. Besides we can have fun as well." grins Mike at his friend.
"Yeah. Well I am going to head to my suit and check everything out and see if I can work some of the kinks out of the mega beam launcher." states Cam.
"Good. See you when I come down."
Cam turns leaves Mike to his thoughts. This time though Mike's thoughts are on his long friendship with Cam and remembers all the good times they had together. And then he finds himself laughing to himself as he looks forward to the upcoming attack.

A new pilot works her way to the area where her mobile suit is being stored. As she nears the area she walks into a man who seems to be keeping up to a mobile suit heading towards the ship launch facilities. Regaining her feet quickly she helps the officer to his feet.
"Sorry Sir I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." says Rusty quickly.
"Don't worry about it. I was lost in my own thoughts." explains Ryan Mithaniel. "Anyways I got to get my ship and be ready to launch. Who knows when those Feddies will come knocking."
Rusty nods and then realizes what she is supposed to be doing. "Sorry again. I have to get to my mobile suit."
She nods her head one more time at Ryan and then races off to her mobile suit. Having some experience with mobile suits she knows she will be able to pilot the suit but she doesn't know how well. When she finally makes the hanger she finds people swarming all over her new mobile suit checking its settings before finally giving the suit over to Rusty. She stands and looks up with wonder at the Gelgoog. It is of a type that she is unfamiliar with. A mechanic nearby sensing her thoughts walks over.
"Its a Gelgoog Jager." says the man. "It features higher thrust and better armament than the standard Gelgoog. And your suit sir is ready as well."
Rusty looks over her shoulder and sees another man behind looking at her mobile suit. He frowns looking at the weapon held in the Gelgoog's right hand. "Is that a beam machinegun?"
"It sure is." answers the mechanic. "Too bad your suit only sports sir."
The man nods absently as his eyes move away from the white and black colored mobile suit to a blue colored one. The man starts to grin and starts walking over to the suit.
"Good luck." says Mikhail before he moves to far.
"You too." replies Rusty as she heads to her suit as the people on it start climbing off.

About 15 minutes later the alarm sounds as the Federation ships come into view but they are higher than what would of been expected. Also the ships are rushing downwards toward the base. As they rocket downwards at high speeds the ships with bay doors that open at the front open and heavily armed mobile suits appear and add their firepower to the display. The result of the first few seconds of the attack is massive damage to the mountain side and then the base's defenses come out of their hiding spots and will the sky with bullets.
For the most part they prove to be too weak against the heavy armor of the ships. Inside the G04 firing his mega beam launcher at the mountain side and causing massive destruction notices the power readings for his weapon fluctuating having learned his lesson once already he cuts the shot off and throws his weapon behind him. He draws his hyper beam rifle and readies himself for the next part of the battle.
He doesn't have long to wait as the ship's decent levels off and the ship begins to orbit the base with the other two Pegasus type ships in the attacking force. He grins and leaps out of the door and falls towards the jungle below. Around him he spots the other ships also catapulting their load of mobile suits as well.

As the elevator reaches the surface Rusty is greeted with her first view of the battle field. The area directly in front of the elevator doors has spots of fire at random spots that still something to burn. Also the area is smothered with smoke so even she knows that the presense is unknown still. Beside her a Gouf Custom strides forwards and disappears into the smoke. Moving to the left Rusty finds the almost natural looking rock outcropping that Zeon forces built to serve as cover for mobile suits holding the elevator against assault.
"Enemy Engaged." says a deep voice man's voice and then a burning wreakage of a Jet Core Booster appears through the smoke and explodes over her.
Then as a wind appears the smoke disappears and further down the mountain side she spots a group GM firing on the Gouf Custom as it destroys another Jet Core Booster. She grins and aims her large beam machinegun in their direction and fires. One of the GM get a shot off but it misses the Gouf as it uses a Jet Core Booster to block the shot. Her shots on the other hand explode around the GM. Then a couple lucky energy blasts take out a GM's head and then a cockpit of another GM unit.
"Back to the elevator." orders the voice of the Gouf pilot as he lands beside Rusty's suit. As she regains her suit's feet she spots a Zaku Cannon get hit by a roket and explode. But then she is in the elevator and heading back down below the surface.
Rusty hears several explosions and then sees dust fall down on her mobile suit. "What was that?"
"There is a Big Tray down near the city that is with range of most of the elevators on this side of the mountain." answers the Gouf pilot. "I suspect that it is the same at the other side of the mountain. This place will be hard to take but they have the right idea to take it. Now we get to move to the city. I know you are not experienced enough for major frontline duty but alot of other defenses are busy else where and as of that last explosion we aren't."
"Acknowledged." replies Rusty. "Do you need to reload?"
"No. I have enough ammo to get everything done. Our job is to destroy or disable any suits in the area that may damage the escaping ship."
"Escaping ship?"
"Yeah the Dark Nightmare is leaving Earth to go to Granada."
She nods and follows the Gouf off the elevator when it stops. "Any idea what we may face?"
"I think there may be a sniper team down there plus their escort but other than that no."
She nods and follows him through the network of tunnels that will lead to her destination.

Mikhail in the Kampfer though finds himself behind the enemy lines when he comes up out of the elevator. Lucky for him though is the fact that is his suit is designed for fast combat. With him is a pair of Doms and a trio of Magella Attack tanks. He looks around and checks to see if his giant bazooka is ready and then blasts forwards away from the elevator that is already disappearing into the ground. Aided by a sense of thought ahead of him he rockets through the trees with the Dom Tropens not far behind him.
As he bursts into a clearing he finds the Mudrock and Blue Destiny heading towards him. Thinking quickly he fires off his giant bazooka in front of the Mudrock. It moves away but a strange feeling of hatred directs his attention to the blue mobile suit. Usually taking one's attention from a gundam can prove to be fatal the Dom Tropens enter the scene and they start attacking the Mudrock.
"Sorry Joseph but I can't stay with you any longer." sighs David Tomai in his gundam as he blasts out of the clearing with the two Dom Tropens right behind him.
"No problem." respond's Joseph's voice. "The newtype is mine anyways."
Left with the Blue Destiny Mikhail brings his giant baooka to bare and fires. Before the round can even erupt from the barrel of the bazooka machinegun fire and rockets slam into the muzzle of the bazooka and the Kampfer is thrown to the ground. As it regains its footing the Blue Destiny calmly starts walking towards the zeon suit. Mikhail with a snarl of rage draws a shotgun and begins firing rounds from it. For the most part the Blue Destiny ignores the attack until finally the suit receives a nasty wound in its left arm then it blasts into the air where it throws away its machinegun and draws its beam saber. At this point Mikhail notices the suit's sinister red eyes and red colored exhaust from its thrusters.
Mikhail is able to block the attack but the weird feeling he gets increases when laughter fills his head. As the laughter grows louder Mikhail is forced to squeee his eyes shut and grab his head as pain begins to fill his head. Then with no resistance the Blue Destiny cuts the legs out from under the Kampfer. Then the Blue Destiny reverses the grip of its beam saber and sits it over the Kampfer's cockpit. But before the killing blow comes several shells slam into the Blue Destiny. Already damaged by the Kampfer's attack its body crumbles and its legs buckle. Out of the jungle come the trio of Magella Attack tanks. The leader of the group fires one more time at the Blue Destiny and destroys its head.
Inside his still somewhat functional mobile suit Mikhail is greeted with a view of a human shaped cloud that is darker than the darkest night in a cave erupts from the Blue Destiny. With a roar of anger it rushes at Mikhai. He screams in terror but the cloud disappears before it makes it to the Kampfer. A few minutes later one of the tank pilots opens the Kampfer's cockpit to find Mikhail in a state of panic screaming about a ghost coming to get him. The man calmly punches Mikhail in the face and knocks him out and carries him back to his tank and heads back for the elevator.
David in the Mudrock finds himself steadily getting warn down by the two Dom Tropens. For the most part he hasn't been able to turn and fire on the fast moving Doms. He grunts as he comes through the trees into another clearing to find a Big Tray and a few mobile suits. The one that has his attention is the GM Sniper II with a sniper rifle pointed at him. Trying to react fast enough he blasts to the side a realizes what the Sniper was doing as it shot flies past him and slams into the chest of a Dom. But before the Sniper can deal with other Dom it fires its bazooka. The well aimed round slams into the back of the Mudrock and the gundam falls to lay face first on the ground. As it tries to stand again the Dom still avading the GM Sniper II's aim slides to a stop beside the Mudrock and plants its foot on to the damaged gundam's back and thrusts its heat saber into the gundam's back narrowly missing the cockpit and forcing the suit's reactor to shut down.
The Sniper getting a clear shot fires and hits the Dom in the chest. Not puncturing the armor at the angle but crushing the armor enough to kill the pilot inside. With no longer any at the controls the Dom Tropen falls backwards and lays still on ground. The GM Sniper II then moves to the gundam's side where it rolls it over so the trapped pilot inside can escape. Once David is out he heads for the Big Tray.

Mike and Cam find themselves moving through the city looking for defending Zeon mobile suits. So far they haven't had any engagements but they know that the bombardment from the nearby Big Tray will draw out attackers. It was only a matter of time. To aid them in the task of handling Zeon suits is the hover truck that survived the scouting attempt.
Mike the hover truck says he has detected a trio of Zaku type mobile suits.
Mike nods to himself as he hears Cam's words in his mind. With out replying he heads towards the direction of the Zaku II. With the G04 behind him Mike knows he will be able to handle the mono eye mobile suits. It only takes him a few minutes to find the three suits. Before they spot them both gundams open fire with their hyper beam rifles and shower the area the suits are with energy blasts. They quickly fall to the attacks but a warning sounds in Mike's cockpit. With out waiting to see what it is he blasts backwards as he feels an attack coming his way.
Sure enough energy blasts fly through the building he was standing beside seconds before and they rip across the street falling to hit the retreating gundam. He grunts and looks for the mobile suit that fired the energy blasts. But as a shadow falls over him his eyes look upwards and he spots a blue mobile suit standing on the bridge over him. With barely a thought Mike blasts backwards and showers the building and the Gouf Custom with vulcan fire. The Gouf ignores him and aims its shield gattling at Cam's G04 and fires. Cam brings up his shield and blocks the attack and finds himself being forced to move backwards under the force of the attack.
A cry over the radio forces Mike to turn and look back towards the mountain. His eyes narrow in on movement on the mountain side. What he spoted was a large mega particle cannon coming out of the ground and aiming at a nearby pegasus. Before he can warn the ship it fires and a purple colored death touches the underside of the ship and a massive explosion follows. As cries fill Mike's mind the damaged Pegasus drops like rock out of the sky until it slams into the ground and explodes into a final large fireball and the cries in his mind go silent.
Then before he can spend more thought on the ships destruction movement to his side brings his attention back to his part of the battle. He finds Cam still under fire from the Gouf but the movement he saw was a Gelgoog type suit moving to a spot to open fire on him from behind. Mike grunts and blasts towards the mobile suit only to find himself coming under fire from the Gelgoog mobile suit as it spots him and points its left arm at him. And with a last glance around before he lets the battle carry him away from noticing all other details he spots an incoming Zeon fleet.

Jynx Staff looks down out of her viewport at the jungle far below. As she watches the city comes into view below her and she spots a Big Tray firing on the mountain side. She nods and looks around for other targets but finds none.
"Okay Kyle it is your and my task to destroy that ship so the base is able to launch the ship." states Jynx as she glances behind her at the Zaku II.
It is an older type but at its controls is a younger pilot who doesn't seem to be concerned about the older nature of his mobile suit. "Roger."
With a grin Jynx leaps out of the Gaw's back into the open air. As her suit falls she quickly gets a fix on all the enemy mobile suits in the area. A few hundred meters before the suit reaches the city's skyline the parachute on her back opens up and slows her decent. Then as her suit's feet touches street below the boosters attached to the parachute ignite her downward fall is slowed even more and she touches the ground shortly after shoftly.
Seconds later the Zaku II C settles behind her and she starts towards the Big Tray. Her first opponent that she meets is a GM Ground Type and it never saw her. Its partner though reacted quickly and began firing on her with its machinegun. But Kyle appears behind it and brings his heat hawk down into the back of the GM and steps away as the suit explodes. Then as one the two turn and run at the Big Tray that just moved into view. Its response to their presence is firing its two large mega particle cannons. They miss the two mobile suits but the blasts burn through the city and destroy a few other suits moving through it.
Kyle begins firing his bazooka as soon as he is able to get a clear shot on the Big Tray and its mobile suit escort. His first round neatly destroys a GM's head and knocks the GM off its feet. The next round slams into one of the Big Tray's guns and disables it. Before Kyle can fire any more the Gouf is at the Big Tray and is taking out a GM Ground Sniper. Kyle nods and looks around for another target and spots a retreating GM Ground Type. With a grin Kyle chases after it leaving Jynx to handle the ship.

Stephen Zee finds himself in a fight to the death with a new GM Type that seems to be able to move around like he can. He is thankful the suit is sporting its slow firing hyper bazooka and not the fast firing beam gun that the other GM of the same type was using. He curses his luck as he fires off his bazooka once again and misses the GM as it skates away from the shot. Growing enraged he spins around and fires his scattering beam gun which blinds the GM pilot and forces the suit to trip over a tree laying across its path. When the GM hits the ground Stephen fires his bazooka into the GM's back. When it explodes Stephen spares the time to look around. He finds himself in a clear spot that goes a ways up the mountain. He spots an explosion closer to the city and lets out a cheer as he hears Jynx's voice say the Big Tray is down and the other is occupied with her own Big Tray.
Stephen grins and blasts forwards to get into position for the ships launch.

A smile appears on Ryan Mithaniel's face as he is awarded his first view of sunlight through the door in front of him. Then he is thrown back into his seat as the ship's booster ignites and sends the Dark Nightmare blasting down the launch catapault. When the ship is out in the air it begins its climb towards space. Ryan looks around and sees a few shots fly out towards his ship and they all go wide. With a signal he orders a channel to be opened for him.
"I am on my way out." says Ryan. "Thanks for the help. See you all if I come back to Earth."
He then orders the channel closed and he sits back to wait for the trip to orbit to be finished.

Mike McCarville watches as the ship leaves the base behind and any attackers that could harm it while it is in this form. With the booster on it the ship is at its weakest.
"Primitive ship." sighs Mike as he continues to watch it.
"Compared to our Pegasus class ships it is." answers Cam's voice. "Well that annoying Gouf and its Gelgoog partner have slacked their firing. Want to take a look this time?"
Mike nods and sends his answer through his thoughts to Cam and sticks his suit's head up out of their cover. Standing closer than it was before is the Gouf Custom and its Gelgoog partner. He grins as he triggers his thrusters and blasts into the air and sends vulcan fire at the Gouf Custom. It ejects its gattling gun and blocks the shots. As he sets down on the ground a little ways from the suit he grins and finishes aiming his beam rifle at his real target. He sees the Gouf's mono move to take in the Gelgoog and as the Gouf burst into motion he fires. The shot reaches the Gelgoog Jager long before the Gouf makes it to the spot that blocks the Gelgoog from sight. The one shot though proves to enough as it blasts through armor and just skins the reactor area.
Its pilot reacting quickly ejects from the mobile suit. Seconds later the mobile suit explodes into a massive fireball and showers debris over both suits. The Gouf though turns from the gundam and quickly catches the seat with the female pilot in it. Then as it turns once again to flee the area its left arm comes and begins firing the last few shots left in the 3-barrel machinegun mounted there. The bullets bite into the already scarred armor of the G05 and it is forced to take cover and let the suit go.
"That was an interesting way to take a look." says Cam sarcastically.
"I saw my chance and I took it." sighs Mike as he looks over at the scarred G04. "Hows your damage levels?"
"They are fine just mostly armor loss. But I don't think we should start think about getting back to the ship to reload because I don't know about you but my ammo levels are getting kind of low."
Mike nods and looks around at the ships orbiting the mountain side battling the mountain itself or each other. He also spots a Gaw unloading its bombs into a forest area. He can just feel the bombs exploding on the ground through his seat. "I think you are right. But I also think we should leave and try this attack again later."
As Cam goes to reply a bazooka round slams into the back of his gundam. As it falls backwards Mike spots the Zaku II who fired it. He grunts and goes to chase it but a bunch of bullets slam into the building beside him and he spins around to find another Gouf type mobile suit standing by his mobile suit.
"Cam you all right?" asks Mike as he waits to see what the Gouf has planned.
"Yeah just mainly damaged my thrusters. No jumping for me any time soon." states Cam's voice as the G04 regains his feet.
"Enough of that. It is just me an you red gundam pilot." snaps a female voice on the radio.
The Gouf draws its heat sword and activates it. Mike getting the idea drops his hyper beam rifle that was pretty much empty anyways and draws a beam saber. Then as readies himself he hears the female's voice once again. "So the Federation does have pilots that have guts."
Before Mike can snap a reply back the Gouf blasts forwards. Taken by surprise Mike is forced to move away from the attack. This proves to be what the Gouf pilot was hoping for as the suit blasts sideways and body checks the gundam to the ground. Mike reacting with fast reflexes has his suit back on its feet as it unloads the last of its vulcan ammo at the Gouf. Its armor barely has a mark on it as the bullets slams into it but afterwards the armor has a bit more damage to it but none of the bullets punch right through the armor.
The Gouf pilot though ignores the attack and slashes at the gundam. It takes the slash to the left shoulder but its own melee weapon bites into the Gouf's right leg. Mike then pulls to the right and removes his beam saber. As the Gouf finds itself with a right leg. As Mike brings up his arm to finish the job the Gouf's hatch blows open and the suit blasts forwards and tackles the gundam. With the Gouf on top of it and alot of its systems shorting out Mike knows he lost this battle and blows his hatch.
As he climbs out of his mobile suit he looks around and finds the Gouf pilot standing nearby with a pistol in her hand. "You have surprised me today Feddie. Next time you see me you won't escape so easily. Also get your friend to stop attacking the Zaku II. We both need rides back to where ever it is that we need to go. Mike nods and sends the thought at Cam. He feels Cam obey but feels the man's anger at having to turn after almost gaining a lead on the Zaku II. "Done."
"Good now I suggest you leave this area quickly. Or you may just be caught in the blast that will soon be all that is left of your gundam." says the woman as she leaps away from the two mobile suits and runs towards the landing Zaku II after it jumped back to her position.
As it leaves the G04 appears around the corner and quickly scoops up Mike and runs away from the two downed mobile suits. Seconds later Gouf explodes and then both suits disappear in a large explosion that knocks down a couple buildings but that is about all the damage they cause. As Mike watches battle in the sky he sees the remaining Federation ships turn and head away from the mountain. He frowns at the results of the battle but he knows that he will be back and next time the battle will go a lot differently and the rotten Zeeks won't be receiveing any reinforcements to come and save them.
He lays down in the head and closes his eyes as he drifts off to sleep to waste the time until they arrive at the pick up point.

Deep inside the Sahalin HQ a blonde man watches an image of the Federation forces retreating. His face is calm but inside he is full of rage and hatred. Beside him is a female who's hair color matches the man's hair. Her eyes though are taking in the death and destruction of the attack. The man looks over at the woman his eyes narrow.
"The Federation's only wish is to cause pain to all those that won't bow under them." sighs the man. "That is why I need you to pilot my dream to bring justice to those that think they are the law sister. Together we shall free the universe from the Earth Federation."
The sister nods and turns from screen.
"As long as destruction and hatred like theirs shall never be unleased against anyone again." she replies as she lowers her head.
"That I promise you."
After his last word leaves his mouth an older man walks into the room. "I have returned my lady."
"And the rookie you were with did she survive?" asks the woman.
"Yes she did. She did very well. She shall make a fine soldier."
The female nods and leaves her brother. The older man follows her out of the room. Left alone the brother begins to laugh.
"Soon all that has tried to hurt us shall be burned away in a purifing light." he says as he begins to laugh harder. His eyes now show just how far his mind has slipped.
