On the Freedom's mobile suit deck Ensign David Tomai and Joseph Valisky look over pilots arrayed in front of them for the mission briefing. They all look mostly young but they knows they are experienced. David grins as he looks back at his still damaged mobile suit. Beside stands the damaged Blue Destiny.
"We have received word that a Pegasus class has been captured by Zeon Forces." States David. "Due to Joseph and my mobile suits are still damaged you will be handling this operation while I command and he watches from the bridge. You will be required to retake the ship. From what we have been able to get from intelligence they only have a small amount fully functional mobile suits to defend the ship. So it shouldn't be that difficult if you work together."
"The first phase will be for a small group of you to attack the ship and then draw away some of their forces away. Then the rest of you and the ship will come in and take care of the rest and try to retake the ship." Continues Joseph followed by a serious look at the pilots. "You must succeed. Failure is not an option. They can't be allowed to keep it. If they haven't found out its secrets they will soon."
"Also with this victory we come one step closer to turning this war. We can't allow Zeon to start walk over us again. We can't allow what happened at the begining of the war to happen again." Says David with a force in his voice that the other pilots were forced to realize how important this mission is. "Now ready yourselves because you have one hour before the mission starts."
A hour later David Tomai finds himself in the bridge looking at the area far ahead where the battle is about to start. He sighs as he waits for the ship to appear but keeps the M-Particles high so the ship can't detect them and the Freedom can't detect the Paladin as well. He frowns and checks the time.
"Soon now."

The Paladin floats slowly over the jungle. Its movement slowed because of the damaged bridge and due to this fact it is also using minovski particles to hide its presence. It has its two mobile suit defenders already on deck in case they come under fire. Ryan Mithaniel has been spending most of his time on the mobile suit deck and he is there now. As an alarm sounds he curses and puts on the head set he was wearing around his neck.
"Sir Federation mobile suits have been detected." says a voice in Ryan's head set. He curses as the ship is shaken by an explosion. "Deploy everything we have begin firing the ships weapons."
Outside the Dom and Gelgoog launch from the catapult and fall among the two Ground type Gundams. Those two suits react quickly and disappear into the trees with the two Zeon suits chasing after them. As the Paladin's Fighters launch a pair of Coreboosters dive out of the sky showering the two Dopps with energy and bullets. They are quickly destroyed but before the two fighter/bombers can pull away from the Paladin its weapons open fire and they manage to destroy one of the fighters. The other disappears into the sky.
A few seconds later several mega particle blasts narrowly miss the Paladin. The ships crew cringes as they spot the Pegasus refit in front of them. The also notice the GM Ground type armed with a missile launcher and a Guncannon MPT on the ships catapult. Ryan thinking quickly recalls his two mobile suits but finds no responce and then the Freedom comes under fire but the weapons fire is silenced quickly as its anti-ground laser turrets blast away at the jungle below. Then a face appears on the screen in front of Ryan.
"Greetings Zeon forces. You are on a ship that doesn't belong to you and I have come to take it back." says the pleased looking Federation officer. "Surrender now and we will go gentle on you."
Ryan curses seeing that he doesn't stand a chance at fighting back and if he did it would only get people of his crew killed. "On one condition. You must let my crew go and I will give myself up."
The officer thinks about it for a second the shrugs. "Fine. Begin right now."
It takes only an hour for Ryan's crew to leave and get away. It takes another hour for the Feddie ship to hook up to the Paladin and then board. Ryan standing near the hatch raises his hands when David boards. David nods at Ryan and a pair of soldiers grab him and put him into handcuffs.
"Welcome to the Paladin Ensign." sighs Ryan as he is taken from the Paladin to the Freedom.
"Thank you and I hope you have a nice stay in our brig." grins David. "Take him there right away and begin to study his mobile suit."
Outcome: Paladin retaking
The Fall of the Ragnarok
Standing near the bridge of the Paladin the G05 waits as the ship effortless moves through the air. Below the ship a river flows its way peacefully towards the ocean where its fresh water traits will change to that of salt water. Its surface appears so peaceful to Mike McCarville as it looks down it. Unlike the pilots of the other mobile suits he knows what this battle may cost him and he ordered everyone to do this anyways. He has even laid his life on the line.
"Okay everyone stick to the plan and hopefully we will be successful." says Mike into his headset. "Make sure you bring that ship to Cam in the G04."
As one the whole crew and mobile suit pilots say they know at almost the exact time. He shakes his head and leans forward and opens a channel to Cam Edwards in the G04.
"Is everything ready?" asks Mike.
"Yeah and I think the mega beam launcher is functioning perfectly as well." answers Cam's voice. "Hopefully I won't go on a killing frenzy this time."
"Yeah. Just remember to take your finger off the trigger." laughs Mike as he changes back to the main channel. He then readies himself for the upcoming battle.

Ryan Mithaniel grins as he watches the clouds above him knowing that he can create one at a moments notice. He sighs as he watches on a display screen a symbol that stands for the Gaw and a few others that stand for mobile suits arrayed around it. But with in seconds the mobile suits move forward of the Gaw while they get ready for their mission.
"Deployment complete." states a voice in Ryan's head set. "Waiting for your order to go ahead sir."
Ryan nods to himself and activates his smoke dischargers and a cloud seems to form around the Ragnarok. "Commence with the operation."

"Sir M-Particle levels are high is this area and the sky is getting cloudy." states the operation officer to Mike over the laser communication system. "We may not be able to detect the enemy Gaw. Do you still wish to proceed."
Before he can answer a shell slams into a GM and it explodes. Then out of the forest bazooka rounds erupt and explode around the Paladin. He grins as the attack finally begins.
"We have encountered the enemy Gaw's defensive forces." says the operations officer over the radio.
"Acknowledged. Lets go." says Mike as he blasts off the Pegasus class ship and falls down into the forest below.
Once there he spots a pair of Doms as they disappears behind trees. A GM and a GM Command land behind him. Mike grins and chases off after the Dom's. It doesn't take him long to catch up to them and to realize that the Dom's has a friend as an energy blast causes the GM to explode. Mike mind reaches out and feels the next attack coming and dives his gundam to the side. Mike goes to warn the GM Command but finds it already dealing with the two Doms. He nods to himself as he continues to advance on the Gelgoog as is it charges with its beam rifle firing at him. Right before they close together Mike feels something wrong with the sky above him but he isn't able to spend any more thought on it as the Gelgoog attacks.

"Ensign McCarville is engaging the enemy suits." says the operations officer to the ship's captain.
The man nods and makes sure the two GM Ground Types are in position. "Any sign of the Gaw yet?"
"None."
"That doesn't mean its not out there. Keep on full alert. We have to lead that monster to the G04. We also can't allow it to get a jump on us with its firepower." sighs the captain.
"Sir the minovsky particle level is rising. We have lost contact with the out laying forces." cries out a sensor officer.
Before the captain can call all forces to combat stations a massive energy barage erupts out of a cloud in front of them and hits a GM Ground Type. Luckily it doesn't explode but its ruined body falls to the trees below. The other GM reacts quickly and fires off four of its missiles into the cloud. Seconds after an explosion inside the cloud a mobile suit flies out of the cloud and lands in front of the GM. The GM's pilot cries out but is cut off as the Efreet fires its shotgun into the GM's chest repeatidly. As the dead GM is knocked aside the Efreet lands on the bridge. Ryan grins to himself as he shoves his heatsaber into the bridge and small explosions erupt from it.
"Ragnarok hook up the tethers now and deploy the borders to take care of the rest of the surviving crew." orders Ryan. He looks around and sees the smoke starting to disperse but he just shrugs.
As soon as the tethers are hooked up Ryan orders the Ragnarok to tow the Paladin away from combat.

With the distruction of the GM Command the last remaining Dom begins firing on the G05 and forces it away from the Gelgoog. Finding itself with no opponent the Gelgoog turns and runs deeper into the forest. Having a moment to spare Mike looks up and spots the Paladin chasing the Ragnarok towards the hill that the G04 is waiting. Mike grins as the plan continues according to plan. With the M-Particle level to high to send a signal to Cam he turns and blasts away at the Dom forcing it to retreat.
When the Dom is far enough away Mike jumps towards the hill leaving the Dom behind. As he nears the hill just a little bit behind the Ragnarok and the Paladin he spots the the tethers and frowns.
"What the hell." says Mike seconds before he spots the Efreet standing on the ship. "No!! The stupid Zeeks captured the Paladin."
Fustrated that he can't contact came to alert him to the situation he continues and his top speed hoping he gets there in time.

"I have never been so thankful for high levels of minovsky particles." grins Cam as he lines up his crosshairs on the Gaw moving into his firing zone.
He spots the Paladin close behind and wonders why it is so close. He shrugs and thinks that it is probably so the Gaw can't fire on it. When his red crosshairs turn green he grins and pulls the trigger and the whole seems to fall down on him as the Ragnarok explodes as the energy blast cuts through its armor and pierces its reactor. Seconds after a Zeon mobile suit falls from the sky and brings its heat saber through the mega beam launcher.
Cam throws away the weapon and draws his beam saber. Ryan just laughs at this and presses his attack. Due to the G04's kneeling position it begins to lose the fight until the arm holding the beam saber goes spinning off into the jungle behind it. Thinking quickly Cam fires his vulcan's which cut through the Efreet's head and destroys it. Even though his main camera is gone he knows where the gundam is and shoves his heat saber into it and yanks the blade upwards narrowly missing the gundam's cockpit but Cam doesn't escape harm as the heat from the weapon causes the monitors around him to explode and shower him with glass. In front of his bleeding body the hatch is ripped open as the Efreet tears it open with its hand. Cam barely able to see spots the open cockpit of the Efreet across from his suit and the pilot sitting inside with a gun pointed at him.
"Now you die Feddie scum." says the man.
As he pulls the trigger the Efreet is knocked from its feet. The shot goes wide but it still strikes Cam in the shoulder. The falling Efreet also hits the G04 on its way down and Cam is thrown from his cockpit into the waiting hands of the G05. Mike concerned only with his friend's safety turns and leaves the area to bring his friend to a hospital. Ryan on the other hand crawls out of the open cockpit and watches the retreating gundam with hate in his eyes.

The Gelgoog after leaving the battle with the gundam stumbles on another gundam but the suit's pilot seems less eager than the other. He grins and aims at the Alex and fires only to see the shot go wide as the gundam dances out of the way. It brings its own beam rifle to bare and fires on the Gelgoog. It takes the shot in its shield and moves behind trees as several other beam blasts chase after it.
In his panoramic moniter and linear seat Johan watches the Gelgoog's movement easily. Also his newtype sense add more to his sight and he sets off in chase with his beam rifle still firing. Not even caring that his shots are missing Johan continues the pressure on the Zeon pilot hoping to get a opening. It never comes as a Dom appears beside and it fires off its scattering beam gun and blinds him. As Johan holds his arm over his eyes the Dom fires off its last round from its bazooka and his the gundam in the side. The round blows off the suit's left arm and damages its leg. Now laying on the ground pretty much disabled the Alex awaits the Dom's finishing attack but it never comes as the Dom skates away.
Johan looks up as a shadow falls on his suit. He sighs in relief when he sees the Pegasus class over him but the smile soon changes into a frown as a Zaku Cannon appears by him. With parts of his monitor malfunctioning he aims as best he can with his arm gattling gun. The Zaku's mono eye moves and looks at the gundam as it notices its movement. Hoping his aim is true and knowing that he doesn't have any more time he fires. When he opens his eyes again he finds the Zaku laying on the ground with smoke coming out of it. He sighs in relief and blows his hatch. Once outside he sits down near his suits head and looks over at his handy work and looks up at the retreating ship and shakes his head.
Outcome: Ragnarok Destroyed and Paladin Captured.
G04: 2 days of damage, 12 vp
G05: 1 day of damage, 12 vp plus a promotion
Alex: 2 days of damage,14 vp
Efreet: 2 days of damage, 10 vp plus promotion
Restart of the Offensive.
The Dark Knight's slides through Earth's atmosphere like a plane would. Its engines spewing its exhaust sheds some light on the pair of Gaw behind it. But that doesn't last long as the ships fly by the slower moving Zanzibar Refit. When they finally reach a place far enough ahead she nods to herself and turns on her radio.
"Dark Rain and Dark Dream once you spot the enemy begin to spred M-Particles. Then commence with the rest of the plan." orders Jynx as her suit hangs onto the edge of the Dark Knight as it heads towards her target. "Spencer it is up to me and you to complete the part of the plan."
"I know." replies Spencer Crow as he looks up from his picture of his family. He sets it into its place on his control panel as he looks around to see if everything else is in place.

Aboard the Sweet Dream David Tomai sits in his chair drinking tea. He is listening to a communication from Federation command that is being transmitted to all Federation forces. For the most part it was just going over how there forces failed to gain a better foot hold in Asia and how that may make the war last longer. He hides a yawn behind his hand as the officer goes into another rant.
Then the screen goes blank as the transmission is lost due to M-Particle interference. He frowns and then looks upwards as the Freedom comes under fire from two Gaw aircraft.
"All forces battlestations." yells David as he jumps to his feet and races to his mobile suit. As he starts it up he turns on his radio. "Scramble all fighters and launch mobile suits."
"I would never of though of that David." sighs Joseph's voice.
David just shakes his head and ejects his mobile suit from the side of the Big Tray. As soon as he hits the ground he races off towards enemy mobile suits that were spotted by a pair of Tin Cods on patrol. Even though they are a bit away from the Sweet Dream he is going to make them wish they never attacked him.
The first mobile suits he spots are a pair of heavy looking Dom Type mobile suits. He frowns and boosts towards them while firing off shots from his cannons. They miss as the agile Dom Funfs skate out of the way. His eyes narrow as he gives chase.

"The Skating Gundam is on its way towards the holding grounds." says a voice Jynx's headset. She grins and starts towards the Big Tray class ship that is her target.
Right behind her the Zaku I B follows. As they near the ship fighters begin to attack her and the Zaku but after a few shots from her hand vulcans the break off and off into the sky. She frowns when they stop coming back but the question on her lips is answered when two huge blasts of energy nearly miss her and Spencer. She curses but smiles as she realizes what fired those blasts. The smile is short lived as shells begin exploding around them.
"Get to the ship!" yells Jynx as she charges in the direction of the Big Tray. The Zaku I B is right behind her but it is also using her as cover as the ensign suggested during the briefing.
Soon they come into the clearing that the Big Tray is sitting in and it greats them with another blast from its mpc. The blasts miss the suits but forces them to split apart. Seeing his chance Spencer fires off a grenade from his launcher. The rocket propelled grenade punches though the window of the command deck in the Big Tray and then it ejects its load of deady G-3 nerve gas. As he hoped the gas is spred through out the ship in seconds and soon its crew is completely dead. Spencer allows a few minutes to go before he moves to the ship to allow the gas to disperse. Seconds before he arrive to the ship Jynx is up on the bridge and climbing into it to get at the ships controls.
"All right Spencer get on and lets get out of here before those Feddie morons come to save their ship." orders Jynx's voice in Spencer's head set.
"At once." replies Spencer as he climbs onto the ship. Seconds later it speeds off into the jungle. "I think the Feds know we have their ship now."
"Good. We are too far for them to do anything about it." grins Jynx. "Order the fleet to fall back. We have what we came for. No need to loose anymore men."

Back at the main engagement David Tomai curses as the forces start to retreat and he recieves word that the Sweet Dream has been captured by the enemy. He isn't even able to keep up with the retreating Zeon forces due to damage to his suit's legs and backpack. He can walk but it isn't fast enough and he soon finds himself left behind.
"All fighters attack the damaged Gaw!!" yells David into his headset as he spots a Gaw trailing smoke from one of its engines. As he watches his fighters turn and all converge on the Gaw but its anti-air batteries open fire and shred the Federation fighters. He curses and slams a fist into the moniter beside him. "All forces back to the Freedom."
Near him appears a battered lookin Blue Destiny. "So they have beat us?"
"Maybe this battle but I will make sure they loose the war and that groups commander is burned away by beam rifle. "Sounds good to me. Well lets get back to the ship and see our damage."
"Yeah." sighs David as he turns his suit around and starts walking towards where the Freedom is supposed to set down to pick up the remaining Federal forces.
Outcome: Sweet Dream Captured
Gouf: 1 day of damage, 14 vp plus increase in rank Lieutenant
Zaku I B: no damage, 14 vp
