Absolute must-see for science fiction and action fans alike, this chilling and brilliantly scripted tale of the fate of humankind is sure to make you think.  Amazing cutting edge special effects is a real show stopper, and the martial arts scenes worth the price of a rental.   So much going on in this film you'll need to watch it more than once.

II am rarely disappointed in any Samuel L. Jackson film, and this film demonstrates why. This action drama keeps you guessing right til the very end. Jackson and Spacey are police "negotiators",  the guys who try to talk down criminals in hostage situations. When Jackson is framed for murdering his partner, he uses his knowledge of police tactics and negotiation in a desperate attempt to clear his name and uncover the truth about the murder. It kept me on the edge of my seat as I tried to figure out who could be trusted--and who couldn't.
Jackson's performance is what I've come to expect---intense and totally convincing. Spacey is flawless as fellow negotiator sent in to talk Jackson down.

102 Dalmations ...Rated PG
Starring Glenn Close

Movie-Lite Rating: 3  stars out of 5
Kid Quotient: 8 out of 10-- may not enthrall the over-10 generation

While 102 has its fair share of laughs, cute puppies, and smart pet tricks,  it doesn't quite live up to its predecessor.   Older kids in the audience seemed quite bored, but younger children were delighted as a ragtag band of assorted canines from the expected dalmation to a macaw who believes himself to be a rotweiler must free themselves from the ever-evil clutches of Cruella DeVille (Close).
