Lesson Plans:
First Grade Lessons
Handwriting with name bingo
I taught this lesson as one day's station activity. It was with small groups to practice three things: handwriting, spelling (they were learning 4 names each week) and listening to directions. This lesson went well, I would use it to practice spelling words in the future.

Daily Calendar Lesson
Every day, we did calendar. We discussed weather, time, dates, numbers, language, counting, and character. This is a very general lesson plan, I will use when building my substitute lesson folders.

Color Words Activity
This is a game of memory designed to help them learn to recognize and read the color words. I made my own deck of cards--color words on some, crayon marks on the others.
