Kevin Kern was born in Detroit and surprisingly from 18 months old, he started to play the piano. He became a professional pianist from the age 14, and performed in various places until he met Terence Yallop in 1995.
Terence Yallop saw Kevin playing piano in a San Francisco Hotel and felt as if he was watching a movie film. Mr. Yallop was very impressed by Kevin's performance and asked him to produce an album with his help.
This is the start of Kevin Kern's new age music cd release. The first release was in 1996, named " In the Enchanted Garden " . All the tracks' melody in this debut album was so familiar and peaceful as if you have heard the melody sometime before, even for the first-listeners.

Kevin's music includes some solo piano and many other tunes with wonderful accompaniments. " Through the Arbor " on the " In the Enchanted Garden " CD is a one of many beautiful tunes you will carry around in your head throughout the day.
The music of Kevin Kern is deep. It is easy to listen to and makes you pleasant. His music is bright and light. And it fills you with an optimism, with the unknown reasons. There is something in these harmonies, which rises your spirit.
Most of his music tracks are not annoying; rather the collection is soothing and pleasant. His CD is perfect for anyone who is seeking tranquility. Among my new age collection, his CDs remain as my favorite.
Kevin Kern's music -- a towering mass of clouds in a cobalt blue sky, a gentle breeze that passes you by.. That is how I describe Kevin Kern's music.
