This year, 1998 is the first year I decided to attend professional racing events. I've attended vintage races, club events, and amateur races before, but wanted to see what the Big Boys did. So how is watching races where the stakes are high and the car and drivers push the law of physics to the limit? The thunderous roar and eye-shaking shockwaves of NHRA Funny Cars and Top Fuelers have to be felt to be believed. There's nothing like the high-revving screams of Formula One and CART cars flying from 200mph down to almost a stop back to 200mph, while twisting and turning around chicanes and hairpins. I have to say that the events I've attended have been worth my money (especially since I opted for the cheap seats).
