"OF THE TROOPS'
Jeff England of the 127th MP Company
Now this doesn't look like the standard issue M14 or M16.  Was Al Capone issuing weapons out of his armory?

The 127th MP Company was responsible for ship security.  Munition ships were not allowed in the port of Qui Nhon.  MPs were assigned to these ships off shore as they unloaded their cargo, e.g., napalm, ammo, etc.  Paul Turzulli was an MP assigned to one of these ships when he shot and killed two VC divers who were attempting to  place 90 lbs. of plastic on one of the ships.  He was awarded the Bronze Star.
SSG Clark Hopper with the 66th MP Company out of Phu Tai.  Clark was a desk sergeant and patrol supervisor from 1970-71.

The Turkey Tavern was the 66th MPs club.  Of course we all know MPs were not allowed to drink beer while in Vietnam.  Right?

You've gotta love Ron's patriotic helmet.  He drove the V-100 during convoy escorts.
