Tamahome
Tamahome, name derives from his constellation which with the other six seishi represent the stars of Suzaku in the southern guadrant. He tends to be greedy and has a constant need for money. He deeply cares for Miaka and instantly falls in love with her after a few episodes. He's from a very poor family and his mother passed away when he was very little, causing him to be very independent and serious at times. But he also has a great sense of humor as well. His abilities are hand to hand combat with his martial arts skills and the ability to throw his ki.
