| Hello, I'm guessing if you've found this page, you have an interest in speed, or going fast. Things are still abit cluttered as I get more organised, so bear with me. These pages are all image intense, please be-aware all of you dial-up users, you have been warned :) My name is Andy and this page is about the stresses of my big jump into the realm of the Turbocharged world and affiliated topics/items of speed. This is my car, my life, my second wife, the NX2000. I have a complete list of mods I have performed I'm still tossed up in regards to which color I should paint my battlewagon in, currently I'm debating on two colors: Subaru Rally Blue (74F) or something along the lines of a Midnight purple, but I have no paint code for the purple. |

April.23.01: New pics are up check 'em out here. April.13.01:Holee, WTF?!, the whole month of March without an update?!. Big apologies here. So what's been going on?, well, pull up a chair... I've been gathering information on Turbo's and SR20DE turbo'd motors, and let me tell you, even though my former mechanic is no longer around, he is still @#$%ing me. The Apex-i AFC and ITC he suggested for my turbo tuning will not work well a Nissan ECU. Apparently, they will fight the ECU's self learn function when running large 550cc injectors then the ECU goes into "Limp Home" Mode. Further proof that Brad Pohynayko knows nothing other than his own stupidity. Sure he had a fast Talon, sure didn't know much about anything else, perhaps it was because of his own ignorance. Anyways, more about me :) Armed with new knowledge, I contacted Ben Pila at Jim Wolf Technology and began the long bargaining process to punch out a turbo program for me. The problem is, they normally don't program RC injectors. So, they figure they can do it as long as I send the injectors down with the ECU. I also ordered a real Cobra MAF from them as well. They should be done sometime next week. So what else is new?, I sorta jumped the gun and ordered a few more things... KYB AGX Shocks, a coilover kit 300f 280r (I think this this is a fair trade for street/strip duty as it is going to be a daily driver. Most of the SE-R main list members who actively Auto-X use 320f 300r), Suspension Techniques sway bars, and some shiny new Racing Hart Z5000's, more pics, and one more. Further bulletins as events warrant. I have some new pics that I'll put up tonight. |

| Current headaches : May.23.01: So, all the parts are in, my new Mechanic has been working on my car for awhile. Everytime I go down to the shop, there is always somehing different done to the car, that's what I call service. I had quite a radical vision for the exhaust and my new Mechanic has welded together nearly EXACTLY what I wanted. It looks totally wicked, I'll have some pics up later as I don't want to say too much :) April.13.01: The install is nearly complete, the ic piping is all lined up, I just need the MAF to finish the intake portion, building a custom oil catch can, or "pewk" tank as my fabricator refers to it as based on Cusco's design (only sqaure) but I'm still deciding on wether it will be a ventilated one or not. I found this intercooler application on the Greddy webpage, notice how small the end tanks are, mine are aleast the same size as that maybe a bit wider, but still puny, makes me feel better :) if Greddy thinks they can get away with it, then so can I!. My suspesion I've ordered from Isidro (EEs-SEE-DRO) at Highperformanceonline.com now I play the waiting game some more... :(. The 330ZX calipers and rotor upgrade will not be an easy one, more on this later. February.26.01: Everything is delayed, I have to 3 day ship my Oil feed flange, oil feed fitting, and considering a fire extinguisher. Decided to take the bull on with my teeth.... I scooped a complete set of 1991 300zx Calipers and Rotors. I figured I'd run out of brake with something like 350+ hp on tap (my goal is 400+ hp but that is wishful thinking, but I think I can do it and so does my mechanic) So I've decided to take on another side project here and see if I can get these to fit. I'm told I'm blazing the way for future NX-ers hoping for this (praying for easy) upgrade. See how Al Abadilla did it on his G20 February.12.01: Changed my mind about the 5 point harness to a 6 point, finding fitings and gaskets for the Turbo here locally is becoming an increasing challenge. I've been able to piece together here and there with mixed results. My MAF has been delayed again. My touring seats are in, but my supplier isn't going to pick them up yet, dumbass. Priced out some AGX shocks $900+ WTF.... take off eh?. Someone is eying my mags I'm awaiting for some more seriousness,, which means I may be eyeing some other mags, time will tell. |
